Happy Friday all! Today felt like and “Adjustable” type of day so I reached for the classiest one I have that came from a good friend in Kentucky thanks Dave! The Delta Echo Cubano Edition Slim made to look like a fine cigar and I do enjoy a fine Cuban cigar. Loaded up with a Polsilver IR.

Soap of the day the requisite Henri et Victoria Cognac and Cuban Cigars of course. What heady a scent indeed. Smooth, mellow tobacco scent with some wood and cognac in there. If you have ever stuck your beak in a humidor and loved it this one is for you! Beyond that the soap lathers well and easily. Nice cushion and glide and I have no issues with the post shave feel. However, some have commented that it simply does not agree with their skin. To each his own.

Lovely two pass shave with a touch up and near BBS. Some matching C&CC balm and JV Dark Rebel and the trifecta of ungodly good decadent tobacconess is achieved!

TGIF brother!
No kidding Dave!
There's a new cigar lounge 10 minutes from my house, but I won't go back for awhile, due to covid. Disappointing, to put it mildly. I do, however, have some WSP Tobacco splash, if that counts.
Use to visit a cigar lounge called Monty's back in the day for a shot of Oban and a fine cigar whenever I was working out of town in that city. Miss the place. Beautiful fire place and the fine leather chairs and tables. Now I jam my beak in the tub of soap so yeah, the WSP counts! Won't be visiting Cuba anytime soon for cigars...

Me either, though I'd like to visit in a few years, once things have normalized somewhat.
You know that would be pretty nice just jawing with you over a fine cigar and a rum!
I would love to go sometime, My sister visited Cuba a couple years ago and brought me 2 different bottles of Rum, it was fantastic.
A benefit of being Canadian travelling to Cuba on a regular basis.

Yes it would, though I'd go for the coffee instead of rum. I've never had a true Cuban cigar. I'd like to sample a couple some day. Hopefully, imports will pick up in the future.

The coffee is quite good as you can imagine. We normally bring back a couple big bags to grind up. Sadly we haven’t been there in quite some time ourselves.

Same here; been a few years since a visit to the island. People there are great. The food? Umm, not so much as it is generally pretty bland, but it has been a while, so maybe it has improved.

Yeah the food was never very good. We have friends there and so home cooked meals are a little different. The island could certainly benefit from a large infusion of tourist dollar that is for sure.

Still working out the soap to water ratio on this one. It’s nice enough but if this a common issue with the new base I don’t know if I will buy any more B&M.
