Now that sounds like a plan! Have’t really been out for a coffee since the last time we went out for a coffee...that was a long time ago! Let’s see how the week works out!

Happy Father’s Day! Just a lovely shave today with some great stuff! Razor of the day the Colonial General SS SE! Such a great shaver that I would seriously consider grabbing a brass one for a good price!

It has been hot and hazy here and there is nothing better on a hot day than a cold shave! Well a mentholated soap anyway! Today fell to Stirling’s Margaritas in the Arctic. But as opposed to the matching AS I went with a balm that I have been waiting to try. Duke Cannon Supply Co. Ice Cold is apply named and has a lovely bergamot and sandalwood scent. Cold it is and a great addition to any mentholated soap.

Lovely two pass DFS and off to see Dad! The original Somnos! I got him some Portuguese Custard Tarts or “Natas” and the newspapers he loves to read. Have a lovely Sunday Cadre!

Solid setup for man’s special day!

A Brass General would be awesome! A shame I didn’t know you were looking for one sooner, a Brass was posted and sold Wednesday at the Other Place for a very good price.

Naaaaaa, I’m doing the S thing so I’m good.

Back to shaving after a short break from the journals etc. The Rockwell 6C always impresses when it comes up in rotation and today was no different. Plate 4 and loaded up with a fresh Gillette Wilkinson Sword.

Wanted something a tobacco scent to it and so I reached for the Santa Maria del Fiore today. Tuscan tobacco in scent, it is a fantastic soap. You just scrape out a little and drop it into your fav lather bowl. Works the charm.

Lovely two pass DFS shave achieved which is all I was looking for today. Topped it off with some JV Dark Rebel to keep that smoky tobacco and leather vibe going. Take care and safe travels....

Ahhh the weekend is there anything sweeter? Well yes, a long weekend but alas not this one. However, let’s not turn up our noses to what’s sure to be a lovely week’s end. Now about turning up your noses...Ladies, Gentlemen, Barn Critters...I present to you Sni Mato. Right now somewhere mi Hermano @bentheduck has just let out a sigh, frowned and probably threw something across the room. I have many soaps not as many as some here in TSC (you know who, owner types with large 3 digit stashes, who are well groomed and drink good whiskey) but I digress. I have never not loved jamming beak into any of them...until I met this guy.

A blind purchase on sale with the matching AS and toner. Come on, right? I read through the scent notes but I grew up in the city...I don’t know what “morning dew” smells like! Well I do now! This was supposed to be a “Valentine’s Day” release scent. Yeah? Well the nose behind this one was in the midst of a divorce because the only Valentine’s Day you would sport this one to I can think of would end in a massacre! Rant complete...

So today’s razor of choice the mighty Merkur 37C which is one of three slants I own. Loaded up with a Gillette Wilkinson Sword blade this little guy is a smooth shaver.

The soap performs wonderfully, scent aside and you can get hits of chocolate and bitter floral in it. Anyway, lovely two pass DFS achieved. Grabbed the matching AS and gave it a good shake. Wonderful skin food and more of the chocolate is pronounced on dry down. Still Mrs. S will send me for a shower when she gets home despite the Guerlain Habit Rouge I threw on to add a sweeter floral note to my shave.

Well we still have the weekend...enjoy and stay safe!

Plus a stuffed animal?

BTW, what happened to the training with the kamisori?
Oh its moving along nicely, thanks for asking! I have found that though the Feather Pro Guard blades are nice the Pinks which I have in the sample pack are not! Way too tuggy! So I have been trying out just the regular Schick ProLine blades and they are great. I have a Kai "guard" blade to try out though so we'll see. Just haven't been writing about the Kami! I use it on off days and work on technique...

🤬 I actually took a sniff a few days ago when I was hunting the flying demon. The first few whiffs almost made me cry, but it's not as bad as when I first bought it. Still pretty damn horrific, though.
