Sorry to say...you might have to wait a while longer. New Orleans is pretty much shut down because of current events. Until there are better treatments and possibly vaccines...I fear that NOLA is going to be a bit of a ghost town for a while. There is even talks of cancelling Mardi Gras celebrations for 2021. The Bayou Classic, which has been played in New Orleans since 1974 (series actually goes back to 1932 and is played between Southern University and Grambling) is likely to be moved out of the city. Hopefully things can get back to normal soon. But until then...

Well all this discussion of Tabac on TSC between @NurseDave and @BarberDave, led me to go pull out the bad boy for this morning’s shave! Tabac Tuesday! Now I know this scent is polarizing and there is many an opinion about it but I love this soap; performance, scent and ease of use. I have the matching AS and just about anything with a tobacco or a leather base note will do as a complimentary EDP. Today it paired beautifully with Guerlain Derby which has a little tobacco and leather in it!

Today’s razor the Supply Injector V2 however, today I went with the Classic or 2 dot plate as opposed to the 3 dot or most aggressive plate. Just an angle experiment more than anything else.

Got through a lovely three pass shave and BBS achieved. The 2 dot plate just works better for me over three passes.

That's a prettyful picture, hermano. I've been thinking I need to grab the Tabac sitting on my counter for weeks. Might just do that tomorrow.

You should hermano! It really is nice stuff...though not for everyone apparently.
 
Just a winning combination after a sun filled day of fencing! Lovely three pass BBS shave achieved. I love the Merkur 45 in all it’s lightweight, red & black Bakeliteish glory.
