Soap of the day First Line Shave Blue. This lovely soap is a dupe of Calvin Klein Eternity and just like it’s Red brother a portion of the sales go to charities supporting the first responder community. Fantastic soap and the matching AS is excellent!
You are not helping me here, Ed...

I see they have more than just the Red and Blue on their website now. Have you tried the others? Star Odyssey sounds good.

I am actually interested in their Green Label because honestly I really like the Red and Blue label!!!

Top Notes: Star Anise, Blackcurrant

Heart Notes: Ginger, Szechuan Pepper

Base Notes: Bourbon Vanilla, Tolu Balsam, Cedar

Well now welcome to the Saturday of a long weekend here in Canada...The Victoria Day long weekend! Or May 24 as we like to call it....yes it isn’t the 24th but there IS 24 beers in a case! However, this “May 24” is a little different now isn’t it. There will be BBQ but we’ll be waiving at the neighbours and maybe spiralling a few hot dogs over the fence! Stay safe!

Loved the back to back “Aristocrat” shaves and so why not continue in that vein. Today’s razor of choice the 1966 Gillette Aristocrat Adjustable. A Gold Slim by any other name but an A’crat in my books. Loaded up with a Personna lab blue.

Soap of the day is TFS Corte Sabauda one of their 70th anniversary soaps. I have the matching AS and I have waxed poetic enough about how good it is. If you have not tried their soaps, I have several and there is not a bad scent amongst them. They are all 8/9 out 10 on scent strength and I am being conservative. Excellent performers.

Lovely three pass BBS shave. Topped it off with this combo’s match made in heaven scent...Guerlain Habit Rouge. A shame the zoom call does not have “smell-o-vision” because I smell ungodly good! Enjoy the weekend Brothers and Sisters of the Blade and stay safe!

Your weekend is off to a better start than mine, Ed. Lost the whiskers this morning and since SWMBO thinks I now look younger, I had to till the 7 veggie beds (5 boxed, 1 open) and churn in the 2 garbage buckets of compost we started last fall. She said "It stinks like manure" and I said "Duh, it's rotten veggies." My back is telling me that I'm done, not just for the day, but for the weekend.

All Caufght up Ed, sorry I missed your PM but it seemed to be all A-ok and just FYI the video is not public

Well I was lining up a shave with the Feather SS Kamisori today as I was feeling all inspired by the SR workshop hosted by @BarberDave but I slept funny and well, my neck ain’t haven’t it! So parachute in the the Merkur 34G loaded up with a Gillette Rubie.

Soap of the day Stirling Weekend in Malibu! It’s a rainy Victoria Day but this soap sure does help. Matching AS is just great!

Lovely two pass DFS achieved because well, there is much on the honey-do-list to get at! Hope the weekend has been good folks! Stay safe!
