The weekend is upon us and not a minute too soon! Today I decided to visit with The Beast! The Muhle R41 was my second ever DE and I love it for what it is...a destroyer of stubble! I have taken to using it with an iKon 80mm bulldog handle as opposed to its stock handle which gives me great grip and better balance. Loaded up with a fresh Super-Max.
Today’s soap is from the CBL soaps line of fine products, Fresh Vetiver. I have several CBL soaps but hadn’t tried this one yet. Exceptional lather and a fine scent are staple of CBL and this one is no different! Excellent soap and of course I love Vetiver!
A wonderful three pass shave and even the dolphins would cry at this BBS punim! Topped it off with some Fine Fresh Vetiver AS and Bvlgari Man! Oh yes Friday you are my second favourite “f” word but I love you more today!

Tough choice, impossible really! I love them both. If you’re into seasonal scents, the Extreme might be better suited for warmer weather, I feel it is adequately lighter in scent notes (only slightly less longevity than the regular). Sadly I only had a sample of the Extreme. The regular Vetiver I do have and love. The initial wear period can be a bit heavy, but the dry down scent lasts all day and is still suitable for warm weather I feel.
Regular sounds perfect and unless I am wrong the basis for CBL’s Fresh Vetiver. I will hit up my connect for some samples!

Yes, Fresh Vetiver is fashioned after Guerlain Vetiver! It’s a great match too (as is Fine’s Fresh Vetiver)!Regular sounds perfect and unless I am wrong the basis for CBL’s Fresh Vetiver. I will hit up my connect for some samples!
SV 70th goes pretty well with Guerlain Vetiver too.
I only have one SF set, Varesino Dolomiti which I really like but use for special occasions....actually I will dig that out and use it on Sunday.
