I have been having a lot of fun getting the knack of shaving with my Feather SS Kamisori but wanted to grab a DE for today! What a gem this one is too! Found by my bride at a thrift store in extra minty condition cased! Loaded up with a fresh Gillette Rubie Platinum.

Soap of the day First Line Shave Red which is a phenomenal cologne based scent and a dupe of Dior’s Fahrenheit. I love this soap and the matching AS. Spoken often about the company look them up!

Beautiful three pass BBS shave achieved! Topped it off with the matching AS and a healthy spritz of D&G The One. What a great shave! Enjoy your day and stay safe!

I have an identical Aristocrat and I love it. Incredible combo of closeness and smoothness. Mine needed replating, and I don't have the case. My favorite DE by a mile! (y)

It is such a nice razor! I have a 46-47 in as nice a shape and also cased. Been lucky with the A'crats really. It was like butter with a fresh Rubie in it.

I think mine may be a '46-7, but I'm not certain. I tried to nail down its vintage when I got it a few years back. Regardless, a terrific razor. I love their look.

First Line soap has an impressive ingredient list. I'll check them out someday.

If it has a notch in it it'll be a 48-51...no notch it is the 46-47...the rest is identical...

Hey @GearNoir I am not kidding she texted me the photo of the cased A'crat with a "hey, don't you have one of these?" I was like " yeah but that looks new!"....Mrs walked it to the cash and brought it home! :p Then she says..."I don't know why I even said anything, should of just brought it home"....

If I could give this shave a 6 out 5 I would! Earlier in the week I grabbed a very minty 48-51 Gillette Aristocrat that was brought home by my lovely bride. It was a lovely and thoroughly enjoyable shave. Today I reached for the grail in my 34-35 Aristocrat. Long story on how this white whale was caught but I am very glad it is in my collection!

Soap of the day First Line Shave Blue. This lovely soap is a dupe of Calvin Klein Eternity and just like it’s Red brother a portion of the sales go to charities supporting the first responder community. Fantastic soap and the matching AS is excellent!

Oh my! A wonderful three pass BBS shave. Sinful really it was so good! Just great gear and great shave for excellent charities! Stay safe and enjoy your shaves!
