Good luck with the yard work Ed! I’ll channel my inner @bentheduck and say “stay hydrated!”
:p...it was very nice! We would have been On day 2 of a two week vacation in MoBay Jamaica right now..ah well. Long as everyone is safe we’re happy. I played pitmaster and crushed today’s ribs! Officially Summer when this supermodel makes super ribs!!! :ROFLMAO:

That's it, right there. I've been sitting on my patio thinking about how blessed my family and I are. We had a scare - a nephew's best friend and roommate was quite ill with all the wrong symptoms, but he's better now and he's virus-negative. Life is precious, and short. Let's all continue to stay safe.

So true Sir honestly it is all about family, friends and neighbours. Check in often but keep your distance. We need to get through this all together. Glad it worked out Bruce!

I was eyeing my iKon SBS this morning but reached for the General instead. The SBS is the original version based loosely on the PILS with an OC on one side and SB on the other. More on that one later. The General is a smooth shaver.

DrJon’s 13 was the soap of the day. Vegan and really quite good. Love the scent and the lather. Also have their Flowers in the Dark.

Easy two pass today was all that was needed. DFS/BBS. The Kai Captain Original is on its second use and has smoothed out nicely. Enjoy the sun if you can and your day!

Now today’s shave was setup and ready to go but I received a mail call yesterday and in it was a very minty Feather Professional Artist Club SS Kamisori. Cleaned it and sanitized yesterday and decided to give it a go today! Loaded up with a Feather Pro Guard blade. Of course the iKon SBS was on stand by as was the local trauma team. I have never used such a razor...ever.

Soap of the day TFS Rasozero Spiffero which is a minty scent. Very nice and slick. Treated myself to the pre-shave cream also which is more of the same minty goodness!

Well with a face full of lather and a bit of trepidation I set about my “straight” journey. First pass with the grain, both sides of the face and that left the cheeks almost done! What?! One pass?! Come on! Put it down and checked to make sure. Holy smokes was that close! No nicks, no weepers, no blood! Now let’s not get cocky. Finished the underside of the chin and well let’s just stop here. Very nice! Well I continued on with the iKon SBS through passes two and three but there wasn’t a lot to do however, my neck wasn’t up to the Kamisori just yet. So BBS overall. I will continue to use my Kamisori out the gate until I get the technique down.

Happy shaves all!

Those first couple few shaves will take a little longer, but you are training a whole new set of muscle memories. Sounds like you are off to a great start!

@Majorrich It will be a while before I figure out where my grip goes and which way I approach the face! The first pass down the cheeks was done slowly and carefully and the result was pretty good.
