The bottom of a tub

October 15th? That would be my guess for this tub. I continue to be amazed at your discipline.

It is. I use this soap daily while at home. This picture is after about 250 shaves.

I load heavily and use a rotation of Simpson Chubby, Duke 3 and Classic 2 badgers, three different Shavemac 2 band silvertip knots, one Manchurian, an Omega Jade boar, a Synbad and a G5C knot. There is no effort on my part to skimp on what I use for each shave.

This Brain Bowl is an Original. I have a Rose Brain Bowl waiting to be opened. MdC just works well for me.
 
I love the older AdP Colonia soap. I finished this jar, but fortunately I have backups. Just a quick lid swap and I am back in business.

I load to a count of 50 which is about 35 to 40 seconds. My shave is too enjoyable for me to worry about conserving consumables. I also bin all blades other than Feathers after 4 shaves and 3 for a feather. I could probably get some more mileage but for just a few dollars a year I don’t have to deal with an occasional bad shave Because of a bad blade or an under loaded brush.
 
This morning saw the end of my Captain's Choice 45th Parallel soap and it went out with a wonderful lather. Except for using a puck of Williams in the February challenge, almost all of this year has been with Captain's Choice shave soap and I am more than happy with how this shaving year has gone so far.

Up next is the red tub of Cella.
