The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man

Awesome to hear your boy is on the trap team! Despite all the shooting I have done, I have only ever a few rounds myself. (Defensive pistol shooting is my main thing.)
I did take the instructors course and helped coach the first year they did it here to help get them going though. I think half the kids knew more than I did in that particular sport, but they needed coaches to get started. It's great to see something other than fear tactics taught to kids about firearms these days, so I definitely wanted to promote and help it any way that I could.

I would recommend getting him (or you) an over/under as opposed to a single though. They will often (at least in this league) have two birds to hit. You can use a pump or semi-auto but the o/u's swing very nicely and less moving parts to deal with. Yildiz, Mossberg, and Stoeger are a few nice entry level o/u's that can be had for around $400 to $500. Although if money is a big concern, there are some decent pump actions that can be had for $200 to $300. Mossberg/Maverick, Remington, and Winchester for example.

Thanks.... he said his league will all be single bird. I would probably be looking for a pump for me. And the 200-300 range is definitely where I'm at right now.

Another quick update.

I'm loving my Anniversary Brush. The cashmere knot is fantastic, and softer than the cashmere knot I have form another brush maker. This one is really special. I'll be using this brush for a while before I put any other brush back in the rotation.

The Blackland Vector is proving itself to be in a league all of it's own. I don't even want to call it an AC type razor or whatever term you use to describe the Cobra, Mongoose, Asylum RX, etc.... It is so much different from them, it deserves a category all it's own. It's just so light and nimble and the shaves is effortless and super intuitive. I'm on shave 3 or 4 today, and it's giving me the best 3-Pass shave of any razor I have recently used. And of all the razors I have purchased in the past 4-6 months, since I started considering adding more modern razors to my stable,..... it's by far the best. I think I will be offloading many of my recent purchases in my yard sale listing soon.

On a personal note....... As it was starting to be discussed in another thread. I do have a new girlfriend.

Probably over-sharing here, but some of you know that I was dating Badger Babe (from here and B&B), and we had dated for about 4 years..... we parted on good terms, just no longer had the time to get together like we wanted as we both have kids and weekend commitments, and we live an hour and a half away from each other. We hadn't seen each other in months, and it was just getting difficult to hang out and we kinda drifted apart.

I decided to dip my toes into the dating pool and downloaded the Tinder App. Wasn't sure if it was going to work or not. Amazingly, I found someone local, and we have a lot in common. I was curious if I'd ever find anyone that would even think of seeing a guy with a Mohawk..... but knew that if someone swiped right on a guy with a Mohawk and purple hair, then she was probably going to be a decent match, lol. Interestingly enough, my hair is what initially attracted her to me. We texted each other for a few weeks before meeting up. We actually made the whole dating thing official on April 1st, so we have a cool anniversary date, lol. It's still pretty new, as we started messaging each other just 1 month ago, but we really do click and I look forward to building a future with her (Amber).

Sweet! We have our own reality dating show right here on TSC! Keep us updated and tell her all the guys said hi :)

Well, I went from thinking I might get stuck needing the Vector after trying not sure I will at all. You mentioned light and nimble. I’m all excited about a great close shave, but I like my razors beefy.

Thanks Dave,

Seriously, that's the one thing I don't really care for, but that's why it feels like it belongs in a different category. But the shaves are so incredibly good, that it's worth it to me to deal with the different feel of it, and I'm getting more used to it. Just have to see for yourself... Enjoy the pass!

Glad you found a match on Tinder. I am thankful I have never had to do modern dating. And I hope to never have too.

Best of luck in this new relationship KJ
