The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man

Good reading, KJ. One of my sons went full keto for about six months, losing 24 lbs. He switched to a less restrictive low carb regimen, with snacking on fruits and carrots, and is maintaining his weight. Kudos to you and your GF, keto takes dedication!

Man, oh man, did I make a mistake! (The Answer, to the Ultimate Question, of Life, The Universe, and Everything!)

Two days ago when I did my review of Southern Witchcrafts Lycanthropy, I read off the wrong scent notes! I glanced at the wrong line in my notes and read off the notes for Necromantic instead.... oops! No wonder I wasn't smelling what I was reading. It seemed weird, but I rolled with it, and tricked myself into thinking I smelled things I probably didn't. I'm so embarased! And I did a disservice to the brand. 31

In my video, I did say I was kinda on the fence about the scent, so I really need to give it another, proper, review. I will likely take down my previous video, since it was an error. I will redo my video review of Lycanthropy today, and set the record straight. 31

Mea Culpa. And have a great President's Day Cadre!

Not a full entry, just wanted to throw down a thought. I just watched Dave's "Rich Tribute" video where he talked about shaving every day and counting consecutive shaves.... so I decided to see where I was at. I didn't have to dig back very far to discover that I ended up skipping a day when I was travelling to Hawaii. On Jan 7th 2019, I did not shave, because I had to wake up super early to go to the airport. Bummer, now I can't get in a fully year of shaves this year. If I double up and shave twice in one day, I could still get 365 shaves, but that's not really the same thing. But, at least I know where my counter has reset and I'll see if I can keep it going through the rest of the year. I usually only miss like 2-3 shaves throughout the year, and it's either because of travel, or being sick and just not feeling up to it. But, we'll see if I can think about this in the future, and make every effort to not skip any more!

Yeah when I went and looked in my journal I was surprised to find a missed day. I think I was busy and just didn't log it but thought, eh whatever, I'll just starr counting there. This way we let the next rse guy think he's in the lead.....

Had a fantastic shave today with Mystic Water Lavender Lime. My skin feels great. Hasn't felt this good in a while. Love that soap!

I used Avon Tribute today to try to compare it to the Pashana I got from Bruce. The Tribute is similar, but not as close as I thought from the bottle. Tribute is definitely sweeter, and the Pashana is much stronger.

I could actually still smell the Pashana from yesterday when I woke up this morning. That's some crazy longevity.

I too love the MW Lavender Lime that you PIF'd me in December. I talked to Michelle about it and she said there is a light touch of menthol in it. For me, that's the right amount of menthol to feel cool and fresh. It's great stuff. To me it smells like lemon/lime Sprite or similar. Michelle says she has some pucks of it still hanging around that aren't listed on her website. I plan on picking one up with my neck order.

How many necks are you ordering?

Still trudging along with my Parker blade. Luckily only 2 shaves more with it to finish out the month. The last few shaves I have used Mystic Water exclusively, and it has really helped me get some decent shaves out of this blade. The slickness of the soap and just the overall excellent properties of the soap have really helped mitigate the draggy feeling of the blade itself. I'll be using MW for sure for my next two shaves. I've been skipping the VLOG for the past few days. I kinda thought talking about how bad this blade was, was getting quite repetitive. But I'll probably do a VLOG on Thursday, for my final shave with it.

I experienced the same thing.

I don't need more soaps...I don't need more soaps...I don't need...

I got MW Leather & Smoke, and Yellow Rose, clearly because I'm manly, and comfortable with it.

KJ, I told you I didn't need more soap! Why'd you do this, man?!?

Well, if you didn't have any Mystic Water, then clearly you did need more soap!

Now, do I need to tell you more about CBL Soap and LNHC?

Had the kids this weekend. My son has joined a skeet/trap league in school. It's something new for this year. So he got a 20ga single shot shotgun and he brought it over to my place to practice. It was his first time shooting anything bigger than a BB-gun, so it kicked more than he was anticipating, but he did great. We just plinked some cans on Saturday, then we went to Walmart and bought some clay pigeons for sunday. He did pretty well, actually hit the first one I threw, so that was awesome.

After the kids left on Sunday, I hung out with a friend, had some drinks, and had a great time. Actually sitting down with someone and having a conversation is really good for the soul. Forgot how much I missed that. Feeling really good today.

Only downside was I had a teensy-weensy bit of a hangover this morning. Nothing too bad, just enough to make me want to stay in bed an extra hour instead of getting up to lift weights.....

Had a good shave this morning though. Broke out the Conk Lime. Often dismissed in favor of artisan soaps, but it is a solid performer. And I have started going through my SV aftershave samples. Trying to see if any of the flavors do anything for me. Today Opuntia. It's supposed to be cactus, right? I don't get it, didn't smell like much of anything. Dry down was slightly cologne. I had high hopes for this one, but it didn't really do anything for me.

I did a partial shave last night, so I needed a mild shave this morning. The Yuma was up for the task and didn't disappoint.

Trap/skeet is so much fun! But a 20 gauge? How’s that gonna put hair on his chest? :p

Glad you got some quality time in, with both family and friends.

Yeah, I know... they can use a 20 or a 12 for the league. Probably much easier with a 20ga. But the thing I forgot to mention, is that I've never owned a gun myself. So my son has a gun before I do..... what's up with that. Now I'm considering buying myself a 12ga. Then he can have fun with that one too.

I’d have never guessed! I figured you to at least have a couple handguns and an AR lol. I don’t know why. There’s some good brands out there for decent prices! Let the research begin!
