The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man

Glad to hear your cancer was isolated. A friend of mine had her cancerous thyroid removed about 5 years ago, and she's fine. No visible scar, cancer all gone. ?

Thanks. Looking forward to the same result!

I received my TSC Member Brush yesterday. The Luca Brassi. I had a specific look in mind for my brush and Eric nailed it! African Blackwood and a Blood Knot.

I decided to use my Gillette ABC Floral Old Type for OCtober. Also pulled out my Paladin Shaving Pythian Way Soap for a great Shave today. Followed up with Gurlain Vetyver.

Did some yard work today. Found someone looking for a fence, so decided to finally pull mine out. I didn’t have a push mower so I couldn’t get inside to mow and the weeds got out of control. It’s nice to finally have that eyesore out of control.

Also, while mowing, found this little guy. Glad he was unhurt.

Little dude thinks he’s bigger than he is. About 8” and nearly full grown.

Good looking brush, KJ! Never seen a blood knot—did it perform like a tuxedo?

Nice find on the snake as well. Glad you didn’t mow him down. Very easy to do.

Great looking set up all the way, KJ. I'm unfamiliar with that razor - looks cool.

The side of the house sans fence looks great!

What kind of snake was that?

The handle & set is one of many made by the American Button Company through a contract for Gillette.

I intend on on building a flower box along that whole side in the spring. And maybe make a sitting area, as that side of the house overlooks my pond. That is if it ever rains and it fills back up. I still need to rip that satellite dish out as well. Another thing that came with the house that I don’t need.

The snake is Storeria dekayi, the brown snake. They max out at like 9-11”.

Wow! For a guy who is supposed to be recovering you sure are pretty active!

Really though...the yard looks so much better and if you could give the fence to someone who can use it...kudos!

I am just amazed at the quality of work Eric does and I am starting to wonder why many of us search out the super expensive brushes when with our resident brush maker and a little patience...Eric can have you one that I bet is better than some of the high dollar brushes. It is absolutely beautiful!

Glad the recovery is going well!

Thanks.

Thanks! Interesting razor info. I was unaware of the brown snake. And we'll be looking forward to seeing what you decide to plant in the flower box.

He has definitely become quite the master craftsman with brushes and straight razor scales - no doubt.
