Do not listen to these peasants, Love live TabacaVeg!!! Huzzah!
I was about to say something along the lines of, "that's awesome!"; but then I saw the aftershave in the photo.....
Wow, awesome shave! CBL is on my list of soaps to try for sure.
So, have you mixed up some more aftershave?I am now a believer.
Thanks Chris. That one is in pretty good shape, except for a bent end tooth, but it doesn’t affect the Shave. I have a couple of Khaki Sets, but as you indicated, not in as good of shape. Those old Gillette’s are awesome. Yours looks like it’s in great shape. I have a few army issues razors with cases, they look good for the age but not spectacular like yours.
So, have you mixed up some more aftershave?
I have not. But if I do I think I will not do a 50-50 split. Maybe 75% Tabac and 25% Veg.
The little sample that I used was 50 Veg, and then 25 Tabac AS and 25 Tabac Cologne.
I was experimenting ting because I have a huge bottle of cologne, and a small bottle of AS. The cologne is more floral than the AS, which actually helps balance or at least blend in with the veg better. It was quite nice. I’m still experimenting to figure out what I like before I mix up a full bottle of Tabacaveg.
Sounds like we need a mixing thread!
Once I perfect some things I’ve been working on, I’ll put out all of my recipes. My brand is Vezmerize!
Its actually a term my Grandfather came up with.Vezmerize ... I like it!
KJ, it sounds like you are getting bored during your recovery. ?Today, I did a thing.....
And no, I didn’t buy more CBL Soap..... yet.
After using Cowgirl a couple times, the scent just isn’t for me. Too much lavender. I was consolidating some of my tubs of Dragons Blood and making some samples up, and had just a tiny bit left in my tub, but not enough for a full use. I got to thinking what might go with Dragons Blood...... Cowgirl?
Incense, Leather, & Lavender. Sounds weird, but it worked wonderfully. I like it far better than Cowgirl on its own. The lavender got subdued by the incense and is just in the background. But the leather still plays. I dig it!
