As far as pics go...I have just been using white poster board and leaning it up against the wall then setting my shave gear on it and taking a pic with my phone.

Yeah, that’s what I’m thinking. I just need to do it first, before I make my video, because once I start the video my phone is tied up for about an hour. Cause you know YouTube can’t multitask.
 
Today is the start of Speick-tember, so it was an all Speick SOTD. I really wish I had the Speick bath soap.



The aftershave is legendary, and probably one of the few “must have” products in wet shaving.

But I had forgotten just how good, and how super slick the soap is. I don’t isually use Shave sticks, but this is one that I keep around.



Its a a lazy Saturday and I’m fully enjoying sitting on my deck, drinking my coffee and catching up on the forum. Hope you all enjoy your 3-day weekend, if you get one.

Heres a few pics I took yesterday at the State Park, when I took the boys fishing.



This tiny dude was about the size of my fingernail...
 
Nice SOTD KJ! Your other pics are awesome too and remind me that me and the boy havent done a trail walk lateley. Will be remedying that soon I hope Cub Scouts cranks back up in 2 weeks
 
Excellent written entry.

I think your next step to kicking things up a notch is to have the guys strap you to a B-2 at top speed for your shaves.
 
Great set up and photo, KJ. You're right, Speick a/s is a must have.

And the nature shots are awesome! Especially the first butterfly pic! But also diggin' the B&W tree, and the little frog. Well done!

Thanks, I’m trying to do more on my Journal, as I tend to favor my VLOG, since it’s easier for me, but I realize not as accessible to others.....
 
Happy Labor Day everyone. Hope you all have the day off to enjoy it.

I used the holiday as an excuse to take a break from my Techmatic, and use a razor I’ve been wanting to get to for a long time.... the Weck Sextoblade. Best shavette out there, in my opinion.



Only did 2 passes, because I don’t like to do ATG with a straight. Still a good and very fun shave!

Tonight I have to take the kids back to their mom’s, which I’m not looking forward to.

But it then I get to go to Lodge, which I am looking forward to. We’ve not had Lodge for 2 months for a summer break. Really looking forward to spending the evening with my Brothers there!
