If you wouldn't mind would you pm me where you got that razor? Looks pretty cool.

New shavette I got from Ali Express, uses DE blades, but you don't have to break them in half. Perma sharp blade first use installed.
Phoenix Shaving Phoenix Lights. From Meetup. With starjelly and Aftershave.
DS Cosmetics 26 mm Dragon Palace shave brush handle with Tuxedo knot.
1 pass and a touch-up, near BBS. Good enough for me today. Not chasing BBS today.

New Razor in the Den, Magic Monsieur Charles straight razor shavette that uses injector razor blades. Schick blade installed.
Double check blade alignment when installing, likes to pop of alignment slots ehen closing. Shaves pretty well. Just half to remember blades is only 3/4 lenth of blade head, kept trying to use part where blade isn't at. Did manage to knick my big Adam's apple . Hopefully won't do thst next time. 2 passes and a touch-up for BBS Soap and Aftershave PAA Blue Moon Bay Rum, alum and septic pencil fixed the nick.

Hmm. Made me go look at that one. I think that blade being less than the full length would be annoying?

Yes, the blade not being full length is a bit annoying, but because of the injector blades it does an excellent job. Kinda like a miniature artist club blade. Probably would have been better if blade and razor head matched length,

Thought I'd share my beard mapping to you. This is close too what I have. Except neck area is more diagnal from Adam's apple to ear canal is with the grain. Neck Area below jawline next to ear actually swirls clockwise and counterclockwise from ear all the way down neck. Below Adam's apply grows up. Cheeks are opposite of picture and diagnal from above ear to chin is with the grain jawline is as pictured. Have cream wrinkles on neck especially at neck from ear and down with razor bump scarring from years of cartridge razors( most difficult area to getting BBS). Use advanced techniques to achieve BBS. Wouldn't recommend some of the methods I use in neck area for most because it's a blind move. I actually do a inverted razor hold and shave east to west with a Gillette slide windshield wiper motion to achieve BBS on neck. Otherwise shave crosshand on all other passes.

Trying A blade trick I seen Mikey Shaves on YouTube did.
Classic Samurai Shavette with Schick Injector blades instead of half a DE blade. Seems to yield a smoother shave, plus doesn't have the sharp exposed corners that DE blades have. Makes it less chance of nicking yourself maybe. These blades might only work in this style of shavette head. Might try in other styles to see if it works in them also.
Soap was Cajun Blades La Vache, excellent slickness as usual in all his soaps.

I saw that vid. What a fantastic idea. Most guys have injector blades of some sort hanging around. I imagine that can Artist Club shave performance for extremely low cost.

Injector razor blade works in this shavette also, just got to be careful closing it and examine it to check blade alignment. BBS in 2 passes, 3rd pass got me dss-bbs.

Got PAA Fresco shave soap, shave jelly balm, Aftershave, deodorant and mentholated talc free powder. Excellent lather, love the powder, very refreshing. Also have 3 different yardley talc I need to use more often.

Yamada Denzaburo Straight razor or what Americans call a traditional Japanese Kamisori, asymmetrical razor(right handed) with bamboo handle. Bought used, wicked sharp. 1 pass and a touch-up near BBS. Nice Grail razor for me. Cajunblade Daiquiri Shack Shave Soap used. Soap may be my goat. Scent snd slickness wise. Have a second tub coming
