Steve's Journal: The Saga Continues....

We have been getting summer rainstorms every night for the last week. Nice because I don't need to water the lawn, but a pain because the grass is super long again.

I'll admit that it is convenient not having to water, but at this point I'll need to start taking a day off from work during the week just to cut the grass lol

Shave Time!

Razor:
Rockwell 6c Plate4
Blade: Parker
Brush: TSC 1st Anniversary Sorrentino Cashmere "Nola"
Soap: Oz Shaving Co. Wicked
AS: Oz Shaving Co. Wicked

Love this scent, but there's a pretty clear drop in performance between Oz and Stirling. The Stirling is way slicker. Caused me to walk away with a bit of irritation this morning, but nothing too bad. Could also have been the fact that I was still half asleep when I shaved! Overall I still really like the Oz soaps and splashes.

I have a current real estate deal that is going down in flames do to financing issues. I have the buyer so I'm trying to get creative with how we can salvage the deal, but it's not looking good. Kind of frustrating. Especially since this hasn't been a great year for me with the real estate stuff. I know it's only my second year, but the first year was so much better lol.

Sorry your deal I falling through. I know that can be a lot of time wasted when it happens. Hope something else comes through...still 6 months in the year!

Thanks Chris. I'm working on some marketing ideas to find some new clients. I just hate coming off salesman-y lol. The deal falling apart is something that happens more often than you would think, I've just been really lucky in that it's only the second time for me. Last year was such a success being my first year that I thought this year would compound on that, but it hasn't really gone that way so far. Like you said though, still 6 months to go!

Shave TIme!

Razor:
Rockwell 6c Plate 4
Blade: Parker
Brush: Stirling Boar
Soap: Razorock Santal Royale
AS: Stetson

I'm not sure what's going on, but I got some major irritation today. I'm thinking it's possible I just got a bum blade so I pitched it. We'll see what happens with a new one Saturday. I'm taking tomorrow off to give the face a break. I also changed up my typical Santal Royale AS pairing. I usually put Aqua Velva with the Santal Royale and they play very nicely together with both scents typically lasting much of the day. The Stetson completely overpowered the Santal Royale, and while I do love Stetson, I was kind of in the mood for the Santal Royale mixed in. Oh well.

It has now been raining off an on here for about 4 days now. At times very heavy and we've even had tornado warnings the last few days. Last week we actually one touch down about 5 miles from the house. This weather is crazy! The Phillies have also lost first place in the East by dropping their last 4 games straight. So that stinks too.

Willie World:

Willie has managed to time his bathroom trips to stoppage in the rain. He's smarter than we are apparently!
