Holy bloody face Batman! I am not used to using a shavette that is for sure!! I gave myself weeper after weeper and managed to treetop a few small moles on my neck as well. A straight razor rarely cuts or causes weepers for me, but this thing! Wow! @woodpusher, you knew what you were doing when you sent it to me, didn’t you .
The SV proved to produce a serviceable lather, this was my second go at it. Unfortunately I still had to go back to the soap for the third pass, but it is great smelling slick soap.

I’ll have to keep working at my technique with this thing, I won’t let it beat me. I’m flabbergasted that it’s so widely different from using a traditional straight.
I've noticed a definite change in my whiskers (again) just in the last year to year and a half. Razor and blade pairings that used to give one shave are now giving a different shave.Sat 20 SR SOTD

Super nice lather from this soap! The scent is intoxicating, the lather is cooling, creamy & slick...awesome!
Trying for the 1st time an on-loan modern Thiers Le Grelot...beautiful looking, nice weight & balance with a smooth and comfortable edge honed on jnats. While the kind & generous owner showed how well the edge cuts through his whiskers (I was impressed)...he's in his 30s...my older whiskers say nope...[emoji38][emoji38] Managed in 3+1passes for a ccs result only. I have the owner's permission for this razor to go through the pasted balsa progression...yay! Let's see how tomorrow. Matching aftershave was great!

Hey, thanks for your comment. Yeah indeed...I noticed as I aged...those grey/white whiskers were able to defy a sharp steel edge despite repeated attempts to remove them...the edge gotta be light-saber-sharp!!I've noticed a definite change in my whiskers (again) just in the last year to year and a half. Razor and blade pairings that used to give one shave are now giving a different shave.

Dude!Accurate!
Now the funny thing is that I was recording a video for the Saponificio Varesino sample @BarberDave sent me. I got to the end of pass three and thought it might make SV look bad, so I didn’t even post it. It was BAD, I mean blood dripping down my chin and everything.
