Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Great shave this morning! Swapped the Treet blade out for a Gillette Platinum and I got a much better shave today. Went back to "Good Vibrations" from Phoenix Shaving this morning. Wonderfully fragrant and slick lather! Three passes for a DFS+ result and I finished with the matching after shave splash (+ skin food), and EdP.

Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Great shave this morning! I had a different one lined up and ready to go, but changed at the last minute to Stirling's "Weekend in Malibu". Great summery scent and phenomenal lather! Three passes and I finished with the matching splash (+ skin food) and a spray of Chanel Platinum Égoïste (hold-over from the previously planned shave). Excellent!

Although impractical, the brush is one of my favorites. It is similar to a vintage Plisson but with more backbone. The old cream made excellent lather that smelled great; I had to hand-squeeze out the last of it for my third razor pass because of the brush being a lather hog.

The Le Pere Lucien Traditional scent is lavender heavy with some other stuff. I like it but it's not what I think of as Traditional. I think of more of a Barbershop type scent when I see Traditional.
An evening shave instead of the usual morning shave because I was getting a lot of different things done today. It was a very good and close three passes.
