Good morning Cadre! Welcome to August! Hope you had a wonderful weekend.

Great shave this morning. Needed a spicy Bay Rum kick this morning and the Barrister & Mann soap and splash delivered in spades! Three wonderful passes for and DFS+ result and I finished with the matching splash (+ skin food) and a spray of Hemingway Accoutrements "Nature Isle" which is a great, long-lasting BR cologne. Excellent!

This is why the East Coast rules the world - if we had to depend for the West Coasters (who get out of bed around 10, get a jumbo mocha with scotch cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce, then do the yoga stances for 30 minutes to center themselves for the day) - nothing would ever get done.

The scent of the cream has never been one of my favorites from Penhaligon's, but it has grown on me over time. The razor always brings out the best in a blade, as does this blade for just about any razor. The old aftershave was quite cloudy with particles, so I ran it through a coffee filter before rebottling it and using it on my face.

Good quality lather from the soap. Excellent brush for face lathering. Together with the matching splash, the scent is pleasant but abit faint and did not last...for me at least...
I missed using an SR and today's shave with my favorite heavy-weight wedge was very enjoyable. 3 easy, gentle, smooth, and comfortable passes for a dfs-ccs-sas finish...

Very nice lather from this soap. Light & refreshing scent...enhanced by the nice splash too...
