Soap/cream of the day

ETHOS Grooming Essentials
"Melange D'agrumes"
1st use today! ...and the future as I know it is forever changed.

If my TSC shave soap posts start to look like those of @dmshaver, it is only because the ETHOS Grooming Essentials shave soap is THAT amazing!!!

Note: I promise to do an in-dpeth review of this exquisite shave soap, ...but I am still searching for capable adjectives!

How's the new shave stick? Saw on the back that it says you can lather with a brush, so guessing it actually lathers unlike the regular cream?
Yes it will lather with a brush. I used a DE razor and it works fine with those. It has a nice scent , you can smell the mango and coconut....Some on here have said they don't think its slick enough for a straight..I might try one on my next shave just to see for myself though.

That's cool to hear. I'm currently 3017ing the normal cream version of it and love the scent for these hot summer days in Chicagoland. But it definitely doesn't lather well and I'm basically just creating a creamy soup with my brush and bowl and painting on. Not lather porn but definitely slick.

Love to see stuff like the Cremo stick popping up in stores. Not only makes travel a little easier since you can easily swing by a Walmart and find items like this now but also shows the slow resurgence of traditional shaving.

Barbasol Original, watered down to almost liquid form. Applied with a brush, an extremely smooth and enjoyable shave!
