Soap/cream of the day

Noble Otter Thé Noir et Vanille.

Noble Otter has its scent chops down. Jack from the Virtual Groomroom thinks that this may be the best scent in all of wet shaving and I am not inclined to disagree with him. All totally subjective of course. The jasmine and strawberry notes dancing against the backdrop of bergamot and loose black tea make this one extraordinary.

Noble Otter describes the scent:
"Off the soap you pick up beautiful notes of loose black tea. After lathering you start to notice the subtle florals and citrus from the jasmine and bergamot, all while being engaged with a sweet and warm vanilla. Perfect for anyone who loves tea.
Notes:
Bergamot, Loose Black Tea, Jasmine, Strawberry, Vanilla"

I bought this from @Dave in KY last week & used it tonight. I've been wanting to try it for years. I like DG, it's one of the few brands still in my den. But this one will go back to BST. The scent isn't what I was hoping for.

How would you describe the scent? I feel like DG is a bit vague in scent descriptions (on top of being wicked complex).

This! I need to step up my game and write all of my soap of the day entries like that. Bravo sir. 👍

I liked the idea of this being a mild citrus-scented soap. It is mild, but the artificial citrus scent has hints of citronella & wax, at least to me. It is a mild scent, which I like much more than strong in-your-face scents. But I just don't care for this scent. I know scent is very personal, & others absolutely love the scent. That's great! There are scents I love that others don't. To each their own. Or in the words of Plato & Confucius, YMMV!
No Warranty and No Givsy Backsy's 😜 I liked the scent and performance but already have 2 CBL Orange Dirt so it never got reached for.....
No worrysy's! 🤣
