It is, isn't it? I love curly maple. The handle scales are going to be the same.

I have a few pieces of curly white oak sitting here waiting for a project to be put on. The two knives I'm working on want mahogany, so the oak is still waiting.

That looks fantastic! I've been a huge fan of curly maple since I bought a Les Paul way back, and still think it is one of the most beautiful woods out there.

Thanks Eric! Here is what she looks like with a couple coats of finish.

I'm pretty proud of how straight the plunge line is on the chisel grind. It was all freehand grinding.
