I need to enlist a hacker so as to surreptitiously conduct surveillance, otherwise I might get arrested. White collar crimes conducted for a good purpose are okay, right?

@Spider did this last year and I think it was a pretty fun insight into what you all are gunning for long term for various hobbies (particularly traditional shaving). Since we have quite a few new folks, I figured it might be about time to redo those AD lists! What do you like best in this...

It is a modern equivalant of circling things in the catalog and leaving it open so your parents could find them.

Yup! Like he said, I made a similar thread last year, and that’s the whole reason I started it! Lol. I figured short term buys, you’re going to buy before Christmas anyway, but by posting things on your long term radar, it gives your Rudolph buddy some things to think about.
 
Finding the right gifts is tougher than it looks. I'm thinking that some of my old socks might be the right level of personalization. 🕺
 
Well I have begun the shopping process. My person is not making it easy!
