Razor: Case Red Imp
Soap: WSP Gaelic Tweed
Scuttle: Captains Choice
Strop: Griffin 3”
Brush: Serrentino TSC 1st anniversary badger
AS/eDt: WSP Gaelic Tweed

Comments: Actually did this yesterday, but got involved with my Napping activities

The Hardware: These clones are pretty good! I tested several varieties, and they are all pretty good. Almost indistinguishable from the real deal. Definitely travel kit 11 March 2021

Razor: Feather Scalloped clone / Kai guarded blade
Soap: Tabac
Scuttle: Captains Choice
Strop:
Brush: Semogue 1305
AS/eDt: Tabac

Comments: I woulda filmed today’s shave... but just didn’t do it.

The Hardware: The Red Imp was finished before I sent back my Jasper stone. That stone wasn’t flat, but it had a small section of usable surface. When it comes back, and if it’s flat it will make a great finisher.

The Software: it’s been a while since I’ve used WSP and find I’ve become spoiled by artisan soaps in my collection. But it is an adequate performer that has a quite pleasant fragrance. Takes water like a champ. The aftershave splash is quite long lasting!

The Shave: Two passes N-S and S-N and I’m acceptable. Not chasing any dolphins today. I mist be getting tired of being home bound.

Razor: EABerg 5/8
Soap: CBL Fusion Series Dragons Blood
Scuttle: Captains Choice
Strop: Griffin 3”
Brush: TSC 2nd anniversary synthetic
AS/eDt: Sangre de Drago

Comments: Feeling kinda tired today. I must have had a bad burrito yesterday. I was expelling liquids all over the place last night.

The Hardware: Touched up the Berg on Jasper and stropped it. The results were not as I expected. I completed the first pass, but finished the shave with the Limey Batman.

The Software: I only think I've used this soap a time or two and it is very impressive in performance and fragrance. Quite impressive in protection given the less than spectacular edge I had on the EABerg.

The Shave: Pass one was mostly a session in whisker ripping, but the protection of CBL prevented any hit points being taken. There was significant tuggage, but being a stoic kinda guy, I toughed it out through the first pass. And with 4+days of growth it wasn't particularly pleasant. The Next passes E-W and W-E went pretty much without incident due to the keenness of the Kai. I think I shall bottle cap the EABerg and reboot the bevel and everything. That should take most of my upcoming vacation to do.

Sorry, no pic today guys. Just not feeling it today.

Rough Rich! What grit do you have your Jasper dressed with? Have you run any steel across it to load the surface? Mine has a 600+ dressing and I've run most of the knives in the house across it, so it is nicely glassed. Though it is still fast.

I used a 320 Atoma and followed up with an older worn out plate to reduce the deep scratches. The only steel that's touched it so far was that razor. I think you are right, I better load it up a bit before hitting it with a razor.

This morning's Rich story:

No word of a lie, I tell you that I lined up against nine(?) shiny new current year vettes this morning and momma and I smoked them good as soon as the light turned green.
