There's something funny with your post shave routine.

Hey Rich; decided to try some stuff in the stache today to see what would happen. Got this automatically on one side. The other didn’t corporate so I just rinsed it out.

You‘re a natural born ’stache grower man! Look out Sam Elliott![/QUOTE]

Razor: Vectah’ / Kai (?)
Soap: Arko
Scuttle: Face Lather
Strop:
Brush: Sterling Badger Fan
AS/eDt: Nivea 2 in 1 (ka-pow)

Comments: I got very absorbed in the news and just did a regular non-vlog shave, but any Vectah’ shave is good. A quality weekend featured the first road trip in the Vette (christened Ruby by the spouse unit). Averaged 25 mpg for the trip which I am impressed with, given the fun factor of the drive. The roads were swarming with constabulary personnel, so I had to kinda watch myself. I really should have been ticketed several times, but the odds were in my favor.

The Hardware: Any shave involving a Vectah is inclined to a positive outcome; this was one of those. I could have squeezed more water from the brush for a face lather, but with the drip page and splatterage I arrived at a pretty suitable lather.

The Software: Arko is a standard item on the rotation and will likely be even if I fall into severe times. And the Nivea ka-pow! Followed up with Clubman Talc.

The Shave: Face lathering yielded sufficient suds for more than my three passes. I’m thinking the blade is approaching the end of its service life. Overall a DFS and with a blast of goodness from the Nivea 2:1 I ready to hang out in the house until mama gets home.

Saw that handle on the Graydog forum, but I don't recall seeing the knot. That looks great set, and it bloomed so nicely. Is it a 26mm?

Congrats!

Its a 26mm Maggard High Density. I’ve been really impressed with these knots.
