The Process-
TGIF ... am I right? So today's shave is a bit different from my norm. I am bowl lathering, which I normally only do when using samples. I am using a cream, which I have only done a couple of times when I first started traditional shaving. And lastly, I am using a synthetic brush, which you don't see often either. I prefer natural hair brushes over synthetic. So today I am trying a cream that was generously sent to me by
@Luecke3262. When I began lathering in the bowl, I realized that I had too much water. But I kept working it and whipped up a nice lather. The lather itself has a nice light scent that reminds me of Nivia aftershave. I suck at describing scents, so that's all you get. The lather is not real dense, but it's not bad either.
I went with my standard three passes of WTG, XTG and ATG with no drama to report. That was a really nice shave. Although the lather wasn't as thick as some, it worked very well. It was light on the skin and the pleasant scent held throughout the shave. It was three easy peasy passes and I am BBS for the win! The slickness and residual slickness was not bad and built throughout the shave. I had whipped up enough for a post shave lather while I cleaned my shave gear too. The lather rinsed easily, leaving a nice clean feeling. Very nice!
Wrapped everything up with a splash of water and a pat dry. A healthy splash of the AS and everything was right as rain! Yes ... it surely was. I am ready to wrap this work week up. Life is good!
Home Front-
So it has taken several days, but we finally caught the opossum in a live trap. He was a pain to catch, as you can imagine since it has taken several days. When we moved into the house, it had the washer in the garage and the dryer in a separate room next to the garage. Most odd. So I punched a hole in the wall, about the size of an outlet wall plate and ran the water and drain hoses into the laundry room. Well this opossum had found that hole and that is where he was camping out. He would come out at night and we found him in several places in the garage, but couldn't catch him before he ran back into that hole and up inside the wall. He also wouldn't eat what we baited the trap with. We just happen to catch him by chasing him around the garage. He accidentally ran into the trap and locked itself him. Thank goodness. He has now been relocated to another area, several miles away, for him to go on his way. I think that's all I have today. Have a great day.
