Update on me:
I didn't get the job as a field adjuster. They wanted someone who has been adjusting longer. Sounds like they were long for someone with 10 years experience in our department. It was a disappointment, but if it was meant to be, I would have gotten it. I still like where I am working.
My birthday shave was with a Shovelhead, the TSC Legacy brush, and the DG/CL collaboration of Colonia Balsamica. It was glorious. The DG is easily one of my favorite lathers. And that scent is divine.
I have no doubt. I don't think we will be in TN for the long haul because the wife's and son's allergies are too bad. Will probably move back out west at some point. But, we will see, no telling what the plan for us is.
Well, life has been very hectic lately. That hurricane has made it so that I am spending practically every waking moment at work. But today, I am taking the day off to deal with something else. It had rained here every day this week, which made the ground soft and caused am extremely old oak tree to fall in my front yard. We were blessed with how it feel though. The only damage I saw to the house last night was to one piece of my gutter. I will check better today though. If it would have fallen at a 10 degree different angle, it would have either taken out my house in one direction or the power for the whole neighborhood in the other.
I definitely know how you feel Don. Hurricanes are a norm here in Louisiana. When one comes through...most people work very extended hours! Especially if you have anything to do with construction or insurance.
Some oaks just don't hold up in soaked soil! Glad that tree didn't fall on your house. And glad that tree didn't hurt anyone!
