AoS Sandalwood~~Simpson 57 LE "Douglas"~~Gustave Lalune Mon Fier Destrier~~Initio Oud for Greatness
It's snowing. o_O
It's very cold.
"Winter is coming" (GRRM, ASOIAF)
A while back, I titaniced my way through MANY of my shave creams, with the intention of transitioning to all triple-milled soaps.
As with most intentions, this one, too, went buh-bye. Picked up another AoS sandalwood cream.
This one is older and, like the recent AoS Rose Absolute, has hardened and is more like a firm "croap", rather than a soft cream.
However, the results were excellent and it appears that time has not damaged the quality of this soap.
@Bill M turned me onto this razor and honestly, it is probably my most beautiful blade in my arsenal.
The workmanship is exquisite and, thank goodness, it's a great shaver. Took me a while to get the "feel" of handling it.
Edge is über-keen and my shave-results today were outstanding.
Purchased a 5ml sample of this juice:

I am really hoping Dr. Mrs. Primo likes this stank, because I like it a lot.
Beautiful razor, Maestro, for a fragrant shave!

Antica Barbieria Colla~~Simpson "Rover"~~2011 Mühle R41/Spoiler~~Tom Ford Noir Anthracite
@Clint64 has been talking about the Italian soap product Antica Barbieria Colla.
This is the "cream", but if you translate the word "Colla" it means: "Paste" and
that's almost exactly the consistency of this product, albeit fairly firm. Loading directly from the puck is possible and I do so.
Indeed, if you translate the entire name, it means "Old-Fashioned Barber's Paste"
Am I getting tired of this scent? Yes, the almond/cherry i.e. Marzipan, tastes good in sweets, but the aroma doesn't float my boat for a shaving cream.
Once again, the Gillette Spoiler teamed up with the '11 R41 and they are quite the pair!! Stubble doesn't stand a chance when faced with this foe, neither does epidermis, so a light tough and a steady hand are the orders of the day.
I have mentioned before, but it bears repeating, the stock Mühle handles are sub-standard and slippery, so a Weber Bulldog finds itself permanently attached to the R41 head.
Today's stank is brought to you by the good folks at Tom Ford:

This juice is TF's gift to real men, but I use it anyway.

Tabac~~Rubberset 400/3~~Leresche #51/Personna Super
Tuesday = Tabac and Primo is happy to oblige. There are very few soaps out there that outperform Tabac.
The Rubberset 400/3 was only too happy to whip up some luscious lather and gorgeous goo.

This is for all of you glue dot haters, such as myself:

I found this Personna wrapped in its paper and hiding in a Feather plastic tuck. Huh!
Nice 'n sharp. Good results ATG on the neck.

Finished with some vintage Tabac cologne, which I decanted from a splash bottle to this modern atomizer bottle. Mistake. I should have kept the NOS glass bottle w/box and decanted 5ml into one of my travel atomizers. Dumb Primo.

AoS Lavender~~Simpson H4~~Gillette Tech/Wizamet~~Dhanal Oudh Nashwah
Off to Arkansas today to visit my son and daughter-in-law. First time since they moved.
Shaving will continue at the hotel. (My kids live in a "Tiny Home", hotel is a necessity)
Smelling great along the trail.

Very interesting middle-eastern scent from the house of Rasasi. Smokey campfire with fruity accords and a growl of animal.

Fabulously fragrant shave, Maestro! I’m totally on board with you on the pairing of the Weber handle with the Muhle 2011 head, a winning combo, hands down! Enjoy your Indiana weekend!

Primo's back...:ROFLMAO:
Thanks for all the well wishes. Seeing my kids always fills up my heart.
Eschewed shaving whilst there, so the 4-day growth necessitated a sharp razor.

Fine American Blend~~Simpson D3~~Wostenholm~~YSL Rive Gauche Pour Homme
The American Blend by Fine always confused me, seeing that the scent is based upon a French EdT.
Huh?
:unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure::unsure:
Nonetheless, it's terrific lather and smells great.
(y)(y)(y)(y)(y)
The Wosty has a keen edge, lovingly maintained by my mediocre honing.
Smooth results and...an unsolicited SWMBOSOA©
:love::love::love::love::love:

Side note: Messrs. Trafalgar and Honeysuckle (two of my patent lawyers) have noticed some shenanigans on this forum. Certain shavers, who will remain nameless, have been inferring a receipt of an SOA by their SWMBOS---without paying the required fee due the copyright holder---ME!
:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

I have instructed them to issue "Cease and Desist" orders, post haste.
