Did the research and it came down to the Metro or Lamy Al Star. Wanted a flash of colour...My first fountain pen was a plain black Metro. It’s a great pen to start out with.

Well now that is a beauty and it’s made the cover of Pen World this month...ahhhh, not that I read such magazines...A couple pen gifts this year. A red Visconti Homosapiens and a Visconti pen case.
