Fun trip! Disney is really good at preserving its own history. It’s something from another era and something altogether so different, I think that’s part of the huge appeal.

That's true. Funny, it wasn't always that way with them. On the tour they talked about things from their early movies they are only lucky to find. Painted cells were washed and repainted to save money. And people weren't thinking of preserving history back in the day. Things have been found in lockers and boxes just thrown here and there or piles in tunnels. Not any more, that's for sure!
