Great show last night with our own beast of an official @CVargo! Even if sports aren't your thing, the behind-the-scenes view is interesting. Plus his wife says his behind ain't all that bad either.

The free lunch situation sure turned around after Monday's catastrophe which was a delicious turkey and avocado sandwich, kettle chips, and a cookie. Yesterday was my favorite Cobb salad followed by my close 2nd favorite Cobb salad today. And today's cookie is a cute Shamrock. But this should bring to an end to this week's free lunches.

Finally caught up again. Pretty good weekend. We finished season 2 of The Tourist. Good binging there. And beautiful mid-60s weather. Got errands done and replaced the brake pads on my daughter's bike. First time with hydraulic disk brakes, but it was pretty simple. Also tried to do some troubleshooting on our bathroom sink. It has always drained slowly despite drain cleaner and making sure the trap was clear. A few months ago I removed all the drain pipes back to the wall and it seemed as though there must be a bunch of rust and stuff in the pipe judging by the colour of the stuff I was getting on my clog removal tool. The drain progressed to pretty much non-functional so I bought a fiber optic camera thing to take a look down the pipe hoping I could send the landlord a video of what's going on. So I disassembled everything again yesterday and nope. There is so much stuff in there, it gets on the camera right away so you can't see what's up. So now the handyman is coming out Friday. Needless to say, the lesson is that I need more tools.

Bougie spends $$$ on a camera to see that he needs to call a plumber or go buy a drain snake.
Well, see here. I had a fiber optic camera, but long story short, if you don't have the app it's useless and the app isn't available anymore. So I decided to get me one that has its own screen and stuff so it works independently of another device. Which I found out when when I heard a leak in another bathroom and wanted to take a look. In addition, a major leak that was repaired was because of rust eating through a drain pipe. My hope was I would be able to show them a picture of a rusted-out pipe and they would know to plan for a major repair.

But, now that I have this thing, I could bring it to Vegas...
