How did my journal get so backlogged? I guess because there's nothing all that important to write about. I think I'm getting a mild case of man flu. Which everyone knows is the worst kind. Clearly not sick enough to stay home but irritating enough to be grumpy. Tons of people been pretty sick around here though so we'll see what happens over the next few days. I guess the most important thing is Cobb salads two days in a row.

GTB Friday baby! Not only that we're on day #3 this week of a Cobb salad. While I had my favorite earlier this week, this one is a close second. And luckily I survived my day of man-flu to live on. Tonight we're going into the city to watch a comedian my wife likes with friends and then dinner at some trendy place. Should be fun, but way past my bedtime.

Been a busy time. Last night we better than I was expecting. The opener comedian just didn't have the voice or timing to be good, but the headliner was funny. Then the restaurant was good. One Michelin star but they were serving haut American dim sum style. That's the way to go. Get to see what it looks like before you say you want it. Then this morning was working up the determination to get my haircut. Follow-up eating lunch out on the deck watching as listening to the goings on at the airport. For some reason they were only using one of the 4 runways so they were jamming planes in closer than I've ever seen. At one time there was a plane that had taken off not far from the end of the airport, while one was just going wheels up, and another just about to touch down. Exciting stuff. I feel my days is as wild as when Sam is waiting for economic reports!

Had our cooking class last night. I was okay. Not bad to see how things are done and learn that a lot of ingredients isn't necessarily a deal breaker. But the Coq au Vin Blanc didn't have a lot of flavor which was kind of disappointing after all the steps that go into it. My wife got a pan for making it though and we'll try it again with a red wine at home. Today's disappointment is one of my staff ordering lunch without any Cobb salads. Apparently, she almost forgot to order lunch and was in a rush and forgot. Don't think that won't come up in her annual review next year!

I was in the middle of watching a video about the Blackbird so this seemed like an appropriate razor. I have to say that's my favorite plane ever and I know I'm part of a rather large group in the opinion. Even more amazing is the technology they had a the time to design something like that.
