I wet my face first thing in the shower, and then I rub it all over my beard like it was an alum block, then I massage it into my face with my hands for a minute or so, then rinse it off. I don't know that it does a lot that another Glycerine soap wouldn't do, but I like the scent, and it does seem to soften my beard without making my face squeaky like other soaps seem to do. There is the passage of a couple of minutes time between when I first wet my face and the application of the soap, while I shampoo my hair, and another couple of minutes after the Musgo, while I wash the rest of me before applying the Pre-shave. So my face is wet for about 8 or 9 minutes during the shower, with the Musgo being used about halfway through.Have a question for you Frank! How do you use the Musgo Real soap? I know it sounds like a silly question...but I have been using it and it doesn't seem to really do much for me. Sure it cleans my face...but so does my shower. Anyway...do you leave a thin bit of lather on...or do you rinse it off completely. Just curious to see if I am doing something wrong.
Thanks!Enjoy the reading day Frank!
