Going with some Sci-Fi ambience for your Sunday. Hope you enjoy.
Another incredible shave this morning! Returned to Noble Otter and their excellent holiday release, "'Tis the Season". A wonderfully seasonal scent with notes of Raspberry, Apple, Rosemary, Freesia, Oakmoss, Pine, Cedarwood, Musk &, Fir Balsam. Phenomenal lather built with the WWBW synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave splash. Another easy BBS shave!
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Feeling better today. Have had several night where I didn't sleep very well. I guess it caught up with me.

Getting the workweek kicked off with a couple from Houston TX rockers, ZZ Top (RIP Dusty Hill). Hope you enjoy.
Setting the bar pretty high with this morning's shave! Returned to Barrister and Mann and their excellent "Nordost" shave soap and splash. Phenomenal scent with an exceptional lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave splash, finishing up with Terre d'Hermes EdT. Another easy BBS shave!

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
Going with a vid today from English guitarist / composer, Mike Dawes. Hope you enjoy.
Today's shave edged out yesterday's as the one to beat for the week! Returned to ETHOS Grooming Essentials and Frank's excellent "Dragonsbeard" shave soap and splash. Can't remember the last time I used it so I remedied that today. Just an incredible scent with a phenomenally thick and cushioning lather built with the Paladin badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching skin food splash. Had planned on finishing up with a spray of "Oud Al Layl" from Arabiyat Prestige, but as I applied the splash what immediately came to mind was my vintage Crabtree & Evelyn "Sienna" cologne which I ended up using. Not a direct match, but an excellent complementary frag. Another easy BBS shave!

It's "Women of Rock Wednesday" and today I'm going with a couple Electronic/Dark Wave/Metal band, DropGhost. Hope you enjoy.
Another great shave this morning. Returned to Noble Otter and their excellent "Thé Noir Et Vanille" shave soap and splash. This is another one that I haven't used in a long while and today's shave reminded me what a great soap/scent it is with notes of Bergamot, Loose Black Tea, Jasmine, Strawberry & Vanilla. Incredibly thick and slick lather built with the Saponificio Varesino badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave splash, ending with a generous application of Viktor & Rolf "SpiceBomb" EdT Another easy BBS shave!

Fantastic shave this morning. Returned to The Cajun Blade and their excellent "Bon Temps Barbershop" shave soap. Great scent with incredible lather built with the Simpson synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and Aqua Velva Musk. Another easy BBS shave!
The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Tired this morning. On call this week and had an alarm come in last night at 22:30. Nothing serious, but it awakened me from a deep sleep and it took almost two hours for me to get back to sleep. Coffee and a great shave are helping.

Fantastic shave with which to close out the workweek. Returned to Alabama-based artisans Soap Commander and their excellent seasonal release, "Cheer" shave soap. A wonderfully crisp scent with notes of pine and citrus. Seems I can detect some eucalyptus in there as well though it's not listed. An incredible lather built with the Ever-Ready badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and Pino Silvestre original aftershave lotion, finishing up with Lalique Pour Homme EdP. Another easy BBS shave!

Fantastic, festive scent with an incredible lather built with the Wild West Brushworks synth for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel and the matching aftershave lotion. Another easy BBS shave!

Fantastic true-rose scent with an incredible lather built with the Wild West Brushworks badger brush for three passes with the Karve and I finished with alum, followed by Thayers unscented witch hazel, the matching skin food splash and Domenico Caraceni "1913" EdT to top it all off. D.C. 1913 is such a singular fragrance. A "barbershop rose" frag that knocks it out of the park! Another easy BBS shave!
