Great shave this morning. Returned to Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements and their excellent "CaD" shave soap & splash. Fantastic classic Barbasol scent with incredible lather scent and incredible lather built with the Wild West Brushworks "REM Cycle" Sweet Spot Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '61 Gillette "Fatboy" and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by the matching splash and YSL "Rive Gauche" EdT.

It's "Women of Rock Wednesday" and today I'm going with a couple from American Industrial / Electronic duo, Collide. Hope you enjoy.



Great shave this morning. Returned to RazoRock and their excellent "P.160" shave soap. Great traditional Italian almond / marzipan scent with incredible lather scent and incredible lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 2 Manchurian Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '57 Gillette Red Tip and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Epsilon 03 "Amber" aftershave lotion.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Tired this morning. Up late watching the returns.. Need more coffee!

Great shave this morning. Had a whole other shave planned but changed at the last minute and returned to Martin De Candre and their excellent "Fougère" shave soap. Nice, subtle green, woody scent with incredible lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 2 Super Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '49 Gillette Executive and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Booster "Mosswood" aftershave lotion & Statik Olfactive "Into the Wild" parfum.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Not much to report. Getting things together for my Rudolph buddy. Got a couple more things to get and will get it in the mail to him.

Great shave this morning. Returned to my vintage Crabtree & Evelyn "Mysore Sandalwood" shave soap. Wonderful, warm, spicy resinous scent with incredible lather built with the Simpson "Polo" PL10 Best Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '56 Gillette "Gold Tip" and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by ETHOS Grooming Essentials "Mysore Santal" skin food splash & EdT.

Great shave this morning. Returned to Soap Commander and their excellent "Love" shave soap. Been a while since I last used Soap Commander and I had forgotten what great soaps they were. Wonderfully fresh, true rose scent (along with some green, rose hydrosol notes as well) with incredible lather built with the Paladin "Chief" 2-Band Select Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '56 Gillette "Gold Tip" and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by Czech & Speake "No.88" aftershave splash & EdC.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Nice chill day. Doing some things around the house to prepare for Thanksgiving.

Great shave this morning. Skipped both Sunday and Monday so today's shave with extra nice. Returned to Saponificio Varesino and their excellent "Felce Aromatica" shave soap & ASL. Fantastic scent with incredible lather built with the SV 2.0 Manchurian Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '56 Gillette Super Speed and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by the matching aftershave lotion & Giorgio Beverly Hills "Giorgio for Men" EdT.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Great weekend. But today is the Monday-ist Tuesday ever... o_O

Great shave this morning. Returned to Cooper & French and their excellent "Old Goat" shave soap & ASL. Fantastic Old School scent with incredible lather built with the Simpson "Chubby" 2 Manchurian Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '67 Gillette Super Speed and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by vintage Avon "Spicy" aftershave splash & "Brisk Spice" EdC.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Not much to report. Decent night's sleep followed by a great shave and coffee. Can't think of a better way to start the day.

Great shave this morning. Returned to Fine Accoutrements and their excellent "Lavender Pour Homme" shave soap & AS. Fantastically fresh, herbaceous scent with incredible lather (original version triple-milled soap puck) built with the Paladin "Chief" 2-Band Select Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '61 Gillette Fatboy and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by the matching aftershave splash & Czech & Speake "Oxford & Cambridge" EdC.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Watched the full UFO/UAP Congressional Oversight Hearing at home last night and there was some very eye-opening testimony. Definitely something happening and has been for a long time.

Wonderful warm, sweet scent with spice and fruity notes and incredible lather built with the Paladin "Falstaff" 2-Band Select Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '49 Gillette Executive and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by the matching skin food splash & Viktor & Rolf "Spicebomb" EdT.

The "Happy Hogan" Homefront Report: Not much to report. Nice short week and looking forward to the weekend. The missus wants to put up the Christmas already. I don't. 🎄
