Longhaultanker Videos

I know you’re working, but we should have a meet up next tim you’re through St. Louis and have a minute. Oh and the weather isn’t crappy! Safe travels!
Matt
Glad to do it. The difficult part is always, where do I park the truck. What truck stop is nearest to you? Looks like there are 2 Loves truck stops in St. Louis area. Otherwise, I’m glad to do it.

Long Haul Trucker on the Jumbotron. I always figured it was a bump you regularly plane down with your razor.
Thank you. Nice place of honor. Yeh, I need to do some reading on skin cancer because my doctor said to. 3.5 years to heal is excessive I’ll admit. But it is healing and we’re past the point of any pain or tenderness. So what’s the problem, doc?

You may know how Filarmonica razors used many different colored scales. I don’t think this razor is so unique except for the fact no one can identify it. I suspect it’s a derivative out of the Crown and Sword family of razors due to the sword etching. Other than lack of lineage, looks rather common for the era.

From last night, a nice SR shave with 50+ hours of whiskers. A nice Wade and Butcher wedge razor was used. I’m sitting at our terminal yard ready to drop my trailer and head home for the rest of the weekend. Weather is beautiful. 60F degrees and bright sunshine. Have a great day and enjoy the video.

This week was a challenge having been in the dentist chair and losing a tooth, but I’m feeling much better and back on the road. The tooth wasn’t the only challenge. This Wade and Butcher gave me some challenges too. Hear about them in the video. C’on man!

Glad you got that W&B tuned up to your liking.

Not much I hated more than stitches inside the mouth. That would drive me nuts, and it IS a short ride.

Travel safe.
Stiches are out and gone now since I’ve had dinner. What I learned from that hone job was (shhh, don’t tell any one), not everything has to be perfect. I’m going to break out the USB scope and take pictures when I get home. As of now, I’m very satisfied with the job. Thanks for watching.

As anticipated, because the Monaca, PA load just does this, I’ve been informed there will be a delay of 2-3 days before delivery can be made. I’ve been advised to hold up in a truck stop until called. Because I anticipated such, I called security before arriving on site from the last Loves truck stop to see if such delay was necessary. So I’m sitting at Zanesville, OH two hours from Monaca, PA. None of this has anything to do with this shave which is from yesterday. The Joseph Elliot “Perfection” razor delivered on time flawlessly.

No sooner than I got back in the truck from my shower and shave, I got the long awaited call to proceed to make delivery. All went well and I now have time to post up my video from this morning. I used the Wade and Butcher I honed up and used a couple of videos ago. Yep, still works just fine. Have a watch.

I’m taking a break from making videos. They’re time consuming and terribly inconvenient when in the truck with limited time. Whatever future videos I make will be from home, no more from the road. I enjoy being a member here at TSC, so please, don’t anyone view this as a slight.

So, the following video is from Saturday morning. Enjoy.

Great shave Leon. Thanks for the update. Glad to hear things are good after observing things had gone quiet. What an awesome powder bomb. If they had one of those brushes taller, I’d be placyan order. Enjoy your time at home.
