Doing some quick swag calculations and conversions, I started with about 51 grams of soap. I have used 22 grams between Jan 16 and today (prior to todays shave), so about 2.2 grams a day.
Rough guess is 14 more shaves, so about two weeks. Looks like I will have to pause this for Feb while I enjoy the Williams challenge.
Today is the last shave on this until after the Williams Challenege. It got pretty close, with a fresh donut hole forming today. Should go quick once I pick it back up in March.
After moving my puck of Windsor into the Cade flying saucer soap dish, the soap doesn’t dry out when I leave the lid on. Damp soap results in much better loading, and I’m seeing a very nice depression forming on the soap. Now we’re cooking with gas.
