Let's All 3017... 2019 Chiseled Face Edition

Well I had my third shave today. And so far so good. Already can tell the soap is softening even more and the lathers are better.

Tomorrow I will be using a Honeybee soap and then back on track with the CFG.

Ditto here although the needle didn't move on my tub weight today

Today was a better shave than yesterday. The soap still lit me up, but it wasn't as bad today. I hope this means that it is just my face being abraded and not actually allergic to the soap.

\n\nAssume that is water it is retaining. I will probably weigh in on Sunday.
\nYep, some water weight is expected but the needle moved on the previous shave so I guess it was the fraction of an ounce that held it from ticking down another ounce

After 4 uses.

Started at 170

Now at 148

So roughly 5.5 grams per use. I am blowing through it!

Weight dropped to 4.6 oz after today's shave without the lid on 131 grams (1st time checking in grams)

Are yours weighed with the lid Chad because mine seems light compared to yours and that could be the difference?

Lid has been off when I weigh.

Lid on my starting weight was 168g. Weighed this morning after 4 shaves last week mine is at 162g. That is a total of 6g in 4 shaves or 1.5g per shave. I may never finish this puck

Change up the aftershave so you get a different scent to end.

Also make sure to change get brush each day. One day badger, then boar, then synthetic. You can create variety.

I think this is going to go quicker than I expected. next weighin in a couple of days will shed some light

Been doing everything except the AS change up,I will give it a try

I so used Avon Island Lime tonight for variety. And SWMBO said she wanted to smell something different. After fighting my new dishwasher it was a great relief.

My heart was in the right place, I want to do it but it may not be for me. I'll stick it out as long as I can though. This and an "S" thing, what was I thinking.....
Well, ya gave it a good try *cough* 6 days *cough*. Wanna split splurge purchase of Oleo soaps? ?

So opening measurement without lid was 145 grams. after 5 shaves I am now at 143 grams.

So either I am doing something wrong or you all are going through a hell of a lot of soap. Now again, it may be water retention, but this seems off.
I scooped out 3 grams of soap to use tonight to see the difference.

Otherwise I will be here all year. smelling Cowboy Hippie hanging out in a barber shop.

Well I do bloom and load heavy. But with nearly 300 full size soaps in my den currently the idea of loading conservatively has never appealed to me
