If you have to do something...

Free Shave Day:

Gear: RR Game Changer .68, Super-Max Super Platinum blade (7), RR Big Bruce synth, GD/CBL puke puck soap, Fine Platinum AS, and Fine Platinum EdT to close!

Great shave to start off the day right. Woke up early to get in to church before services, so was to bleary eyed to bring in the Feather.

Today I added in one of my CBL sample remains (Orange Dirt) into my GD samples blend (A&L, Flight, Coattails). Oh. My. Gosh. Becky. Look. At. That. LATHER! Both of these soaps are top of the top elite to me already, but blended together? Super lather indeed! If there is such a thing as Super Elite or Elite +1, this is it! Particularly in post-shave face feel, this blend rockets off the charts and into space. Less than an almond sized load made me oodles of lather, at least 6 passes worth for the GC/Super-Max combo to skate over. 95%+ BBS today baby!

Sporting my cleaned up shemagh today (first time handwashing something, that was an experience lol), lots of compliments so far.

Fog was pretty thick this morning driving around. Couldn’t see more than 50 feet in front of the car. A nice crisp morning though.

Blessed Sunday to you all!

Very nice shave! You may need a squeegee soon ? Where’s the pic of the shemagh?

Have a great Sunday and blessings back at ya!

Free Shave Day:

Gear: RR Game Changer .68, Super-Max Super Platinum blade (8), RR Big Bruce synth, CBL Roasted Oatmeal Stout soap, generic witch hazel, and Ogalalla Bay Rum & Sandalwood AS to close!

A good shave and summation of the holiday!

Free Shave Day:

Gear: RR Game Changer .68, Super-Max Super Platinum blade (9), RR Big Bruce synth, Proraso Red soap, generic witch hazel, and Proraso Red AS to close!

I’ve decided to take a small hiatus from Feather/SR shaves for a little while. The current Pro I have loaded up is at a good spot to pop in and try in my incoming AC SEs. So just DE shaves until then, not that there is a single thing disappointing about that! Once the SEs get here, I’ll be focusing on technique with them for a little while. Really looking forward to it!

So accordingly today was the GC alone. The Super-Max has held up admirably, but the shaves aren’t getting quite as close now, though they are still mostly comfortable. I think I’m going to go back to Astra SP for the next shave. I’ve experienced many different blades in the last few months and want to see how my old work horse compares now.

The shave was good today, what else to say? Proraso isn’t elite, but it darn well gets results if you learn it! And it smells good, that helps!

Back to a regular work week. All signs pointed toward the upcoming Christmas concerts and end of the year events. We’ll be shooing out 2018 before we know it!

Happy Tuesday all!

Nice write up Chris. But wow can’t believe you’ve gotten 9 shaves out of one blade. I am lucky when I get four or five.

9 reminds me of my old cart days when I would be left with one cart left and stretched that out for almost 3-4 weeks.
