If you have to do something...

All very valid points. My guess is that he’s just one that likes constant variety and continues to look for ways to improve.

I guess it’s good if you have pretty wide open preferences, but bad if you are looking for or expecting specific things.

Open Blade Shave #173:

Gear: Feather AC SS, Feather Pro blade (1), Alum block, Speick AS, and vintage Avon Tai Winds to finish!

Stunt shave today to give the 10th official video some variety! Got it recorded and turned out to be not half bad!

Channeling a bit of my inner NurseDave in a section of content...I hope it passes muster!

Video should be done soon.

Could be. Only problem is if people find something and like it they want to be able to repurchase it.

Open Blade Shave #174:

Gear: Feather AC SS, Feather Pro blade (2), RR Game Changer, Dorco Stainless Platinum (1), RR Big Bruce, Scheermonnik Delfts Wit soap, generic witch hazel, Mandom AS, and Mary Kay High Intensity - Ocean to finish!

Videoed myself giving in to some peer pressure today, so just a quick update.

Standard 3 pass shave today, nothing adventurous like yesterday. First 2 passes with the Feather were ultra smooth. It will be interesting to see if I get the same longevity out of this Pro blade due to yesterday’s stunt, if it made a difference at all. The ATG and cleanup with the GC was pleasant, not too much irritation.

This was my first time using a Dorco blade (from KJ). It was very smooth and decently sharp. It did have a little trouble cutting smoothly on my upper lip, which is a sensitive spot for me, but with care it managed a good job.

Today I also used Mandom for the first time. This is the first of the many aftershaves I’ve received recently. This AS appears to be a Japanese product. The Delfts Wit soap scent is fairly strong, so after the Mandom’s cool down, I’m not really getting any scent of it. It is a bit of a thicker juice, kind of difficult to apply. It does feel good though and has a slightly manly, herbal (though not medicinal) scent; it brought Speick to mind almost immediately for some reason. I don’t think they’re that similar, but oh well. Decent stuff at least!

Back to work today! It’s going to be a busy one, but the weather is cooling down, so it should be a nice afternoon/evening.

Have a great Tuesday all!

Mary Kay High Intensity huh? Not a group of words I thought I'd see together.
