If you have to do something...

Nice one Chris! I swear, there can be big changes in a frag comparing a first wearing to second and third. Some say it's to do with air mixing into the bottle, idk, but have had the same happen multiple times now. CH Homme Parfum is supposed to be a real beast, so it probably just need resuscitation.

Is that the Condor Sanctuary you're talking about? God you're killing me, I miss that area!

Not sure! The missus said she saw some kind of sanctuary or preserve place nearby she wanted to go see. Didn’t say what. I’ll let you know!

There's a big sanctuary for the California Condor in the hills behind SB, and another one a bit further south behind Ventura.
Not sure how it is now, but back in the day , access was restricted, so actual sightings were difficult. But the backcountry is still great to visit, so always worthwhile.

Ended up going to a much different place than I expected lol…Santa Barbara Bird Sanctuary in Summerland CA. Neat little property that houses a couple dozen rescued/donated exotics.

Still a fun little activity for an hour or two.

Cool, that's a new one to me, sounds worth a stop next visit. I love the Summerland area. if you get a chance and have the inkling to, visit the Vedanta temple in hills there, absolutely beautiful location, and very peaceful.

I have been there a couple times on behalf of some patients, even got to talk to some of the sisters there. It is a very beautiful little respite.

Shave #10 (500 Open Blade Shaves) of 2022:

Gear: Blackland Vector, Feather Pro blade, Yaqi Moka synth brush, CBL Sir Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Sir Irisch Moos AS, and Ralph’s Club to finish!

Meh Monday. Busy! The missus’ classes start back up this morning, so I’m on school drop off duty a couple days a week. Then it’s off to work; thankfully I have a little more help this week, assuming no one else gets sick.

Good shave this morning, just did simple and easy. Working down that little pile of frag samples so I get get to enjoying my purchases more often.

Have a great day all!

Shave #11 (500 Open Blade Shaves) of 2022:

Gear: Blackland Vector, Feather Pro blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, CBL Steel Grey Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, RR The Stallion AS, and CK Defy to finish!

Not slept well the last couple nights…and work has been oh so busy still! Blech!

Pretty good shave this morning though at least! The weather or something has been drying my skin out a bit more lately, so I’ve been following up a lot with moisturizer.

OT workout class later tonight…we’ll see if I’m motivated enough to actually go lol.

Have a great Tuesday all!

Shave #12 (500 Open Blade Shaves) of 2022:

Gear: Blackland Vector, Feather Pro blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, CBL Sir Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Sir Irisch Moos AS, and PR Phantom to finish!

One day at a time…and here we are almost half way through the week!

Great shave this morning. Not a whole lot to report. Working on whittling down these fougere soaps and frag samples some more! Yesterday’s CK Defy and today’s PR Phantom…fun while the sample lasts, but definitely not bottle purchases.

Fairly full day ahead on the books between visitations and note prep for tomorrow’s IDT meeting.

Hope you all have a great Hump Day!

Shave #13 (500 Open Blade Shaves) of 2022:

Gear: Blackland Vector, Feather Pro blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, CBL Steel Grey Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, LNHC Barber Shoppe post shave elixir, and Mr Burberry to finish!

Great shave this morning to kick things off and get me motivated for the day. 3 fairly smooth passes (this Feather Pro probably has to be binned after tomorrow) and a nice, not too powdery finish. Some generous spritzes of Mr Burberry to top things off!

One day closer to that sweet, sweet weekend!

Have a great Thursday all!
