If you have to do something...

Shave #326 (483 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Gillette Prewar Tech, Astra SS blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and PR Invictus Victory to finish!

A bit of a restless night. My brain was just mentally preparing me to get back to normal work and family schedule I think. I felt rested at least!

Decided to tackle the Proraso Red a bit more today. Not much to report there…it still hanging in there like one stubborn mo-fo. No new frag today. Though I did use D&G The One over the weekend…on Disney day actually. It’s a pretty nice, sweet, almost gourmand frag. Really pleasant amber frag with a creamy vanilla dry down. Projection leaves something to be desired (or maybe I went noseblind to it quickly) and I sprayed fairly heavily but at least I got faint whiffs here and there throughout that day.

Hope you all have a great Monday! It’ll be Christmas before we know it!

Just got caught up - glad to see the family loved Disney, Chris! We just cancelled a planned trip in February because of how astronomical the pricing has gotten and the fact that our little guy really isn't old enough to even fully appreciate it yet. Both the wife and I come from huge Disney families and have both been there countless times, so it's sad to see how out-of-reach the pricing is headed. We both had to reset our own expectations of how often we'd be going as a family. The silver lining of that is when you do go, it's just that much more magical I suppose!

Heck of day! Up for a full 20 hours and then some. But it was a great day overall for the kids’ first time going. We saw almost all of the main park and made it through about 1/3 to 1/2 the rides…spent a god-awful amount of money, lol…but the consensus was that it was worth it and they want to go back again sometime reasonably soon to do more 😎👍

Look at all those little versions of Chris!

Yea…being a little older will help! Even my 15 year old athletic kid was getting whiney by the end of the night lol. Being able to make it a day trip helped too, not having to be forced to pay for a hotel and all that.

I get that a lot! Especially for the older son. 😂

We went to D-World once before we had kids, and once when the boys were old enough to remember.

I remember my feet being so fatigued they buzzed. We did need to stay at the Nickelodeon Hotel and were lucky enough to get the SpongeBob Suite. I still have a pair of SpongeBob boxers I got in the gift shop.

Shave #327 (483 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Gillette Prewar Tech, Astra SS blade, RR Big Bruce synth brush, CBL Steel Grey Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, LNHC Barber Shoppe post shave elixir, and Guerlain L’Homme Ideal to finish!

Ugh…I keep waking up before the alarm goes off! Not sure what’s up with that 🤷‍♂️

Good shave this morning though. Relatively neutral scent profile, so I could use L’Homme Ideal. This is another frag that has been getting a lot of hype. Guerlain is just a solid frag house in general. This one is nice, light, slightly perfumey, sweet, a bit fruity with an underlying vibe of almonds. Pretty good!

Things will be ramping up a bit at work with folks looking to take vacation here and there. Going to be helping cover some new patients and visitations for other chaplain co-workers. Hopefully that’ll help my workload pick up a bit!

Have a great Tuesday all!

Just caught up Chris. What a wonderful trip with your family. Great way to make some lasting memories. (y)
Thanks Clint!
You have got to be kidding me! You had me until this.

Ha! Be careful what you wish for...
It’s not in the same vein as an Italian almond shave soap like Cella if that’s what you’re thinking. It’s more a a dry nutty almond husk kind of scent I think.
One if my favs! Are you using the EdT or the EdP?

Totally agree - I have three frags from their house

Nice shave!
I believe it’s the EdT/cologne. The EdP sounds really fun too.
