Shave #323 (480 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Gillette NEW LC, Astra SS blade, TH Taurus A brush, CBL Fresh Vetiver soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, LNHC Barber Shoppe post shave elixir, and Rochas Moustache EDT to finish!

Bit of a busy morning again. A little bit of a sleep in then it was up and running to an OT workout. Then a bit of coffee with the missus. Hit up some of the sales in the shops downtown for some Christmas gifts. Then finally back home for some cleanup and a shave!

The star of the say today is Rochas Moustache EDT (not to be confused with the EDP which is a darker scent). Can anyone say 4711? This guys is a pretty darn close cousin and lasts longer. Great anytime, clean scent with a bit of a citrus fruity/floral nature.

Sitting out now at In-N-Out for some late lunch with the family! Everyone is really looking forward to tomorrow’s trip to Disneyland (yea we decided to tell em) and lightsaber build!

Have a great Friday all!

Something like that probably wouldn't bother my wife, but she doesn't seem to appreciate my conducting science on her. 😇

Just awesome. Great fun!
How was Disney?
Heck of day! Up for a full 20 hours and then some. But it was a great day overall for the kids’ first time going. We saw almost all of the main park and made it through about 1/3 to 1/2 the rides…spent a god-awful amount of money, lol…but the consensus was that it was worth it and they want to go back again sometime reasonably soon to do more 😎👍

Shave #325 (482 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Gillette NEW LC, Astra SS blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, CBL Roasted Oatmeal Stout soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Old Spice AS, and Stirling Glastonbury to finish!

So sore and tired! Dragged myself out of bed just in time for church though. Held off on the shave until later.

OK afternoon shave. Blades felt a little tuggy but I’ll be swapping everything out anyway for the new work week.

Some chores to finish up. Dinner with some friends later. Other than that, just going to recouperate hopefully!

Have a blessed Sunday all!

If you haven’t signed up for Bingo, I’ve still got plenty of extra cards…calls start tomorrow but I’m allowing folks to sign up into the first week, as long as you don’t mind a little catch up work!

Kids can become Energizer Bunnies at Disney. It's hard to keep up with them.
They definitely got into it! Some of the wait times kind of curbed the enthusiasm here and there (it really didn’t seem like COVID or the required park reservation/registration had any effect on number of people allowed into the park…it was a zoo!) but it was a great experience for them, having never done anything even remotely similar before.
