Shave #333 (489 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Colonial “Armored” General, Feather Pro blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and ADG Profumo to finish!

Well…the week had flown by and unfortunately it felt like the weekend followed suit. Le sigh.

Great shave this morning. Managed to not reopen yesterday’s battle wound which was good. Profumo is smelling a bit better already with my second use of it for today’s scenting.

Lots of catch up to do with newly admitted patients from over the weekend.

Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Colonial “Armored” General, Feather Pro blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, CBL Steel Grey Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Lucky Tiger AS, and ADP Colonia Intensia to finish!

A bit of a classy scent profile for a Tuesday pick me up.

Great shave overall. Just doing my now workweek standard of 2 open blade passes and final pass DE/SE with fairly little clean up. Pretty hard to mess up a CBL lather…well the artisan or tonsorial/master barber bases anyway, haven’t tried the new stuff yet.

A nice few finishing spritzed of ADP Colonia Intensia…very nice.

I like the white gloves. It gives an air of aristocracy. As long as there are two, otherwise, you would just be trying to emulate Mr. Jackson. But I'm having a hard time with the white carnation. If you're at an event that calls for not only a tux but also white gloves, why would one wear a flower that is more well known as a gift from a 2nd grader to their mum for mother's day than for its sophistication?

Up n at em! Can’t believe it’s Wednesday already. Must be in hyperdrive mode till Christmas week.

Great shave this morning. Still working down the Proraso Red. It’s being highly obstinate. May just stuff it in the Clown Puke tub soon anyway. Lol.

Work IDT meeting this morning. I’ll now be doing at least one every week instead of one every other week. I have my own team that I’m a part of but one of the other teams I’ve been sharing with another chaplain, g forty seven who’s been mainly responsible for its support, has now been shifted to me. More responsibilities and more patients. I’m good with that I guess!
