Good shave this morning. Feather Pro in the SS definitely needs a swap. One little nick under the nose that turned into a bit of a bleeder. Otherwise smooth sailing.

Looking forward to the weekend and a nice, 3 day work week next week for the holiday.

A few years ago, several of us completed a 30-day shavette focus. We called ourselves the Brothers of the Pain Stick.

I've had some Zaps and even a few Pows from open blades. :LOL:

You've inspired me to bring out my Parker SRX shavette for a few shaves. I used a Feather AC for a long time, but the Parker is more intuitive for me.

I find a shavette to be much less forgiving than a SR, but the shaves can be incredibly good once you master the tool.

Busy morning. Started with a little bit of a sleep in, then kicked my butt into gear for a morning OT workout session. Then a little bit of scones and coffee out with the missus (some kind of blueberry cream scone, gruyere and squash scone, oat milk latte, and a honey latte for anyone who’s looking for deets). Then a run to the store for some last minute Friendsgiving supplies to prep for tomorrow’s get-together. Then back home for chores.

Nice little cleanup n shave while I wait for the next load of laundry. New blades all round and a nice, fresh scent setup.

Very nice, chill morning. No service since we’re getting together later this afternoon for our church Friendsgiving. So I got a nice sleep in.

Fun get together ahead with friends means a fancy shave with fancy scents! Pulled out some of my warmer weather favorites. Great shave, topped off by a couple generous spritzes of Oud Wood…yum!

Hoooo stuffed myself with a good Friendsgiving day meal yesterday and then finished the night off back at home with the family, introducing the kids to Catan. Good night!

Kids are on break this week, so I don’t have to wake up quite as early as normal. A pretty darn good shave to start the day…and I’m off to the races!

Short 3-day work week ahead. Looking forward to the big long day trip to the Happiest Place on Earth come Saturday.
