Shave #312 (469 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and Hugo Boss Boss to finish!

Ah Mondayā€¦

Good shave this morning. Two bloodless passes with the Feather SS. Swapped out the Vector for the vintage Schick M for a nice, mild, smooth last pass and cleanup. Smelling good, even if Iā€™m not 100% today.

One of the gifts of children is having any coughs and sniffles circulate throughout the home. Started with the youngest and now the middle is feeling it. I had a scratchy throat last night, some tiredness and light drainage todayā€¦but Iā€™m going to see if I can push through the day.

Hope you all have a great Monday!

Shave #313 (470 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Feather AC folding SS, Feather Pro blade, Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, TH Taurus A synth brush, CBL Steel Grey Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, CBL Barba AST, and Zaharoff Pour Homme to finish!

Good shave this morning! Only a couple little nicks but those closed up quickly. Smellin like a champ!

Which is good, because my supervisor scheduled a sort of last minute performance review for first thing this morning; it took a bit more time than it should have to be scheduled because thereā€™s been a lot of personnel shuffling the last month or more. Guess my new guy status has worn off and itā€™s time to get down to the nitty gritty! Crossing my fingers for some positive feedback.

Hope you all have a great Tuesday!

If you're there more than 2 months and haven't demanded a promotion yet (after all, you have been working!), you're falling behind the rest of your generation.

I donā€™t associate with most of my generation for many reasonsā€¦one of which may have to do with the demand for instant gratification. šŸ˜‚

Nah, weā€™ve seen your SOTD posts ;)
When it comes to shaving, I'm gratified with the results, not with the stuff. I've gone through my trial and error period, have found what I like, and use it. You'll notice I don't use average or even good products; I don't scrimp on my gear at all. I may even need to stick with artisan aftershaves; time will tell.

Hey Chris years ago, we used to have a form we had to fill out at work. With our personal ā€œgoals and objectives ā€œ for improving ourselves at work. A coworker of mine, Bruce. Filled one out with what has to be the best response ever to such silly things.
His ā€œgoalā€ was to be first in line at the time clock at the end of the workday.
Our supervisor was not impressed. And told him to fill out another. Things went down hill from there. Bruce was good people.

Good luck Chris! We get to do self evaluations every year at my place. Naturally my eval always says Iā€™m the best employee with company šŸ˜Ž
Thanks Steve! Itā€™s went well. Got good feedback and all positive remarks. Next one, the more normal one, is around mid year this next year. Should be interesting to see how things translate.

Bruceā€™s are needed people in the workforce. Good, hard workers, and comedic relief.
