Shave #264 (459 Open Blade Shaves) of 2021:

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, Proraso Red soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Proraso Red AS, and ADG Absolu Instinct to finish!

Not much that’s new at the moment. Pretty regular day ahead…and I guess that’s a good thing!

On a whim the missus did get us a box of treats from Insomnia Cookies last night. They’re one of those specialty sweets places that makes all sorts of sugary treat combos. Not bad!

Gear: Schick M Adjustable injector, Schick Twin blade, Stirling 2-band synth brush, CBL Steel Grey Fougere soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe mix, Fine Platinum AS, and Fine Platinum EDT to finish!

Pretty decent nights rest. It’s getting pretty chilly in the mornings though, making it harder to get up and out of the warm blankets 😂

Good shave with finishing touches of Fine Platinum. Used the older, more menthol heavy formula of AS…brrrrrr! That was sure bracing!

IDT meetings this morning and a meeting with my mentoree over Zoom later this evening. Otherwise should be a decent Wednesday!

It's funny but it's a different kind of cold there, the thermometer might not be that low, but it cuts through your bones. I remember my Finnish wife and I freezing our bums off one winter trip there. She never gets cold here, even on the west of days.

It must be their food - they put Ranch on everything- so there must be an ingredient in that that makes you cold - that or avocados

Decent nights rest…some weird dreams though.

SB has been on a warming trend since the weekend. Today it’s going to top out in the low 80s and then slowly cool back down into next week. Nights are still chilly good 👍

Good shave this morning. Yes, the Proraso Red is still hanging in there amazingly enough. Been loading it furiously but to no avail. This is one of those old self-replicating soaps that takes…
