Corona Virus Official Day 269:
Got a little extra sleep but was still up in time for my dadly duties of getting the kids fed and in Zoom classes.
Nice cleanup this morning. I’ve been getting some really superb lathers with Moon Soaps when I use it...today’s was pretty elite status. If you haven’t hopped aboard that train yet, may want to reconsider (provided one of the scents interests you)! I still won’t be buying soaps any time super soon but my mental list for what I want next is fluctuating quite a bit. Moon is getting very close to the top.
More dadly duties to follow the rest of the day.
Ends up I have to work an extra day this week; the house mate of a coworker is awaiting test results so as a precaution, he was sent home when he found out mid-shift yesterday, until we hear back. Have to very likely take his next shift. A positive test will of course just prolong his home quarantine. Hoping for the best (slightly selfishly?).

Gear: RR GC .68 SB, Bic Chrome Platinum blade, Yaqi Sagrada Familia synth brush, CBL Aquatic Oud soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe blend, Paul Sebastian AS, and Paul Sebastian EDT to finish!
Corona Virus Official Day 270:
Well, mama is out for most of the day, traveling down toward the So-Cal area for her Grammy’s internment. So it’s dad duties today! Got the kids going then took some time to warm up with some leaf and gutter cleanup.
Very nice late morning cleanup. Definitely finishing off this tub of Aquatic Oud before the year is out. A few more shaves should get to to the point where I can smear it into my Clown Puke tub. Went all out on Paul Sebastian today...I don’t think I’ve done that before (and the missus isn’t necessarily a fan anyway...I can tolerate it at least). It’s not a completely bad scent to me. It’s very synthetic and has a very strange petroleum kind of base scent. It does have some nice notes though that come through long after application. The AS alone is definitely a powerhouse, essentially cologne strength, but both the AS and EDT together? Pheeeeew! I’m basting in it!
Dinner tonight will be a dad special - breakfast dinner and a show! Pancakes with breakfast sausages and probably a Marvel movie.
