Repeat shave! Well, almost. Finished up with Skin Bracer and Stampede instead of the one-two Paul Sebastian punch. I could still smell it on me this morning though...you certainly get quite a bargain if you enjoy the scent! Great shave either way for me!
After work I have a chaplaincy engagement. An elderly man I visited about a year ago is not doing so well and his family is concerned. They asked for me specifically because of my visit last year. Hoping I can be of mindful assistance to both parties.

Nice little bit of a sleep in this morning, much needed.
Slow morning. The missus made some GF cranberry scones for her Zoom tea party this afternoon, so of course it had to be sampled with breakfast! Let the kids veg out on some shows. Then it was time to get the day going!
Nice shower n shave to start mine. Great modern barbershop scent combination! Vector was a little temperamental the first pass but subsequent passes were fairly smooth. Lisa’s post shave elixir easily corrected and post shave irritation I might have.
Finished the night last night with a ride around the ritzy bit of town to look at Christmas light displays. Fewer so far than last year’s but still a couple weeks to go yet I guess. Also watched the latest episode of the Mandalorian...excellent one! Sad there’s only one left in the season.
So glad I got the leaf raking and gutter cleaning done mid week. We’ve had a few nice rains in the last 24 hours, more to come tomorrow and mid next week. We really need it!

Great cleanup this morning. Not much to do from yesterday’s Vector shave...but I’ve never let lack of stubble stop me from a good shave before!
Flurry of activity this morning as our plan for outside service collapsed...literally. We had set up some party tents to cover a small portion of the courtyard where we hold outdoor services but between the rain and winds we had overnight, they totally collapsed and were unsalvageable. Luckily we have long passageway coverings between buildings on two adjoined sides, so what folks showed up got to squeeze into chairs there.

I’m awake! Mostly...
Repeat shave again...just different scents (again). This Aquatic Oud is officially toasted. The small dreg bits will be relegated to the Clown Puke tub this afternoon when I get home. I may unofficially go for the Money tonsorial next...at least until the official faux 3017 starts up with the new year.
I being glad tidings with news most glorious...it appears I get my Friday back. The crew mate who’s housemate was awaiting test results came back negative, so he returns to work today. So, if that holds, I’ll be off until Monday! Woohoo! Christmas Eve is shaping up to be a bear though. A few hour “walk through Bethlehem” event on campus in the afternoon and 3 evening services up to 10 PM are scheduled, health orders permitting. I get one of the later shifts unfortunately.
