If you have to do something...

Shave #297 (452 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Blackland Vector, Feather Pro blade, Paladin Harlequin Chief 26mm brush, Clown Puke soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe blend, Fine Platinum AS, and Fine Platinum EDT to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 222:

Nice, chill morning getting the kids going.

Great shave as well. Decided to pair up the Clown Puke with Fine Platinum...yum! This is one clown not to be afraid of! 😂 loaded extra heavy with the Harlequin Chief and was rewarded with a top notch lather.

Test of the day will be occupied with lawn watering and hanging out with the family. The boys are in high anticipation mode today because weekend = some game time and some new Pokémon game expansion just released for one of their games.

Have some ADs starting to kick up...not shaving ones though. Been seeing people’s lighter collections and while I have a few newer Zippos, there’s a couple vintage Zippos and a different brand, Dunhill, that really catch my eye. I got the Zippos with the intention to make one an EDC but just haven’t done it. There’s also a couple nice pipes (though I’ve dropped my pipe smoking attempts for now). And being able to dabble in the Old Fashioned drink mixing has been fun. Gonna have to try it with some cherries soon!

Have a great Friday all!

Shave #298 (452 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Blackland Vector, Feather Pro blade, RR Big Bruce brush, LNHC Barber Shoppe soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe blend, LNHC Barber Shoppe post shave elixir, and Penhaligon’s Sartorial clone oil to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 223:

I did wake up this morning, somewhat early. Had to get a move on though so I could make a First Aid/CPR training at work.

Shave was good. No issues...smelling great...all that jazz.

Today is the eldest son’s birthday, so we’re having a little part and dinner for him later. 14 and acting every bit of 16...yep...😂

Back to the training!

Have a good Saturday all!

Shave #299 (452 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: RR GC .68 SB, Wizamet blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ pony synth brush, CBL Aquatic Oud soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe blend, Skin Bracer AS, and Mr Burberry to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 224:

Definitely up early today...ugh!

Nice, refreshing shave though to help wake me up! Decided to lay the Vector aside for a few shaves while I fumble about in the morning. The GC is a little more forgiving of sloppy hands. Bang up scent combo today though. I always really love Skin Bracer when I put it on! Burberry is a favorite of the missus (on me), Mr Burberry is no exception! Going to have to pick up a bottle at some point.

Today is the first round of services back indoors. 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30. About an hour per service and 15-20 minutes to sanitize between each depending on how quickly folks file out. Still have our 100 person restriction in place, still no singing. Haven’t seen our registration numbers, hopefully folks feel comfortable enough to come!

Have a blessed Sunday all!

Great choice ... The Gamechanger is definitely a good razor.

I'm sure many are itching to get back to some new level of normalcy, even if it's just being indoors for services to start. I suspect you will have a full (covid-friendly-level) house. [emoji846]

Good luck on the first day back indoors Chris!

I'm curious about how you sanitize the sanctuary in such a short time. Are you using some sort of sprayer?

Wow, service inside, good news. Just keep that sprayer going between services and stay safe my man!

Thanks Paul! So far, so good!
Good luck coordinating the services today. Have a great day!
Thanks Tim!

Thanks Frank and Cole!

Yes...we’re using an electrostatic sprayer that puts out a fairly fine mist. Our disinfecting spray mix gets about a 10 minute dwell time. It’s basically very similar to what hospitals and airlines are doing.
