If you have to do something...

I always have one of these verses the stock wrench that comes with the car. Standing on it with a foot while holding level will break free most any nut safely. Stinks as Fluffy said though.....

Not a bad idea!
OMG ... a 10 second load time?! Really? And a total of 6 drops of AS is more than normal?! Man you’re killing me over here :ROFLMAO:

JK ... Have a great day!
For SV, it works! Despite how hard it is, SV loads like a champ, every time! As for the AS, it doesn’t feel as good, or maybe there’s just too much goodness so that it doesn’t absorb as well, if I use too much.

Shave #271 (443 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Gillette Pre-war Tech, Gillette Platinum blade, Yaqi Rainbow w/ brown synth brush, Clown Puke tub soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe blend, Skin Bracer AS, and YSL L’Homme Ultime to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 196:

Up n at em! It’s Sunday...it’s showtime!

Crazy good shave this morning with the pre-war Tech and CP tub soap. So, the last things I mixed in to the CP tub were LNHC Coconut Oud and CBL Barbershop. I had already thought the amalgamation was previously near best of the best elite status for a soap...I didn’t think there was much way for it to get better...wrong! These last editions in combination with a partial remixing of the soap...holy moly! This might just be the best soap I’ve ever used up to this point! It was creamier, thicker, slicker, better residual, and superb face feel. Followed up by a generous dose of Skin Bracer and the last spritzes of the unassuming YSL Ultime, excellence!

Did a read through of the wedding script once yesterday, I was almost right. The actual timing on the day will depend on many things, but what I did ran about 23 minutes. I think that’s a great time. It’s not 15 minutes and too rushed but it’s not hugely inflated and drawn out.

Let’s see what else today has in store!

Have a blessed Sunday all!

Corona Virus Official Day 197:

Ew Monday.

Up early to ready for work. Nice shower with an overall decent shave. Had a pack of Bic Chrome Platinums (I think - yellow/black packaging) to use up so I put a fresh one in the Tech. Not the sharpest but did have some smoothness.

Been in the 90s the last couple days and oddly enough it’s supposed to get to 100 by Wednesday before slowly going back down. Really weird. Thankfully the nights and early mornings are cool.

Have a great Monday all!

Yeah.... Monday, I’m lazy and I’m struggling to drag myself up to my office.....

Man, I love my Pre-War tech, I had one replated by the late Krona Kruiser about 7 years ago. When I use a safety razor, it’s always on my short list. Fantastic way to start out the week with some Pitralon!

So 90s...and so uncomfortable!
Ew Monday is right. We have a cold front moving through.

Thanks Matt! Enjoy that cool weather!

The Pre-war Tech (a different one than the one I have now) was my very first dip into traditional shaving razors. I always end up circling back to it, it’s so great!

Shave #273 (443 Open Blade Shaves) of 2020:

Gear: Gillette Pre-war Tech, Bic Chome Platinum blade, RR 400 synth brush, CBL Money tonsorial soap, homemade witch hazel/aloe blend, Pinaud Citrus Musk, and Jean Phillipe 1 Million clone to finish!

Corona Virus Official Day 198:

Can’t imagine starting my day any other way!

Great shave this morning. It’d been a hot minute since I’d pulled out the Pinaud Citrus Musk...and I craved it! So I brought out the compliment of software that I’d normally accompany it with. Zero disappointments! This Jean Phillipe 1 Million clone captures the dry down of the real deal pretty dang well!

I don’t know what it is but work has been kicking my butt lately. I’m working less overall but when I’m there and when I get home I just feel totally beat. I thought I had recovered from the months where we had totally shut down and I was basically at home all the time...but something is just wearing on me physically lately. Could be lack of sleep partially as well...been trying to continue soaking up every last second with the missus once the kids are asleep. She’s been pretty busy with work and school stuff. I don’t know.

Good news for her though. She’s pretty convinced she wants to continue on after her bachelor’s (should finish next Fall) and go for her Master’s. Not sure what that’s going to look like yet, she’s really been loving the higher education process though.

Have a great Tuesday all!

Nice shave! I have been pretty drained for the last several weeks also. My job is not very physical, but at the end of a work day, I am wore out.
